Central Bucks East senior Sean Trymbiski rocketed a pair of home runs to spark the Patriots to a 6-4 victory over host North Penn.
“Sean led off the game with a homerun and hit a three-run homerun in the second inning,” said Central Bucks East head coach Kyle Dennis. “Sean has hit the ball hard this season, and he has some impressive power numbers.”
Trymbiski has hit three homeruns, three triples, two doubles, and has driven home 18 runs from his leadoff slot in the batting order.
Senior hurler Ryan Thompson went 6 1/3 innings to record the win. Thompson limited the Knights to just five hits and had four strikeouts.
“Ryan threw 101 pitches and 64 of those were for strikes,” said Dennis. “He had his curve working and kept the hitters off balance.”
“This was a real nice win for us,” said Dennis. “The field was actually in great shape considering the rain we had. North Penn put in a lot of work to get the field ready to play today.”

Wissahickon captured its fifth straight win as the Trojans ‘mercy-ruled’ visiting Springfield by an 11-1 score.
“We lost a few games during the first half of the season by one run, but the players stayed positive,” said Wissahickon head coach Shannon Gunby. “Right now we are playing with a lot of confidence.”
Wissahickon broke out with a five-run first inning to take control of the game. Freshman Billy McFarland and sophomore JT Crits came up with clutch RBI hits in that first inning for the winners.
Junior Brian Kaissi (3-4 with two RBI) and Brian O’Donnell (2-3 with an RBI) had multiple hit games for the Trojans.
Sophomore Joe McGinley earned his second victory of the season with a complete-game, five inning, effort. McGinley needed only 44 pitches to complete his afternoon’s work.
