SOL Boys' Lacrosse Wrap (3-23-18 & 3-24-18)

Quakertown and CB West were winners in boys’ lacrosse action this weekend.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 11, BAYARD RUSTIN 5
Joey Rockovich had a hand in seven goals - scoring four and assisting on three others - to lead the Bucks to the convincing win.
The Bucks seized early control of Saturday’s opener, scoring four unanswered goals in the opening period. They took a 6-1 lead into halftime. Rustin never threatened.
In addition to Rockovich, Michael Samson contributed two goals and two assists, and Jake Ojert also had a pair of goals. Ben Sezauer contributed a goal and an assist while Erik Ojert and Zach Lorino both added a single goal.
A key to the win was the performance of Garrett Hitchens, who won 15-of-19 face-offs.
Max Dunar (six saves) and Connor Garrison (two saves) combined for eight saves in goal for the Bucks.

Chris Brady turned away 17 shots in a standout effort in goal.
Offensively, Jake Lewis connected for a hat trick, and Frank Claus and Jeff Royal both added two goals and two assists. Dan Grubb contributed one assist.
The two teams were deadlocked 1-1 at halftime.
