CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 10, ALLENTOWN CENTRAL CATHOLIC 8
Saturday’s showdown against Allentown Central Catholic was a roller coaster ride for the Patriots, who turned a 1-1 tie at the end of one quarter into a 5-2 halftime lead only to watch Vikings go on a 5-1 tear in the third quarter.
The Vikings took a 7-6 lead into a final quarter that saw the Patriots close out the contest with a 4-1 tear to earn the big win. Ethan Debuque, Chris Vetter and Matt Milici led a balanced attack with two goals each while Zach Kane, Matt Heim and Christopher Schneekloth all added a single goal. Vetter also had a pair of assists while Parker Self, Brian Garcia and Harrison Holak each contributed one assist.
Holak was credited with 11 saves in goal. The Patriots held a 48-22 advantage in shots. Schneeklof won 16 out of 20 face-offs.
Viking goalie Bob Hayman was credited with 13 saves, many outstanding.

DOWNINGTOWN WEST 15, WISSAHICKON 2
The Trojans received single goals from Tyler Crothers and Luke Gomez in a contest that saw the Whippets open up a 5-0 lead at the end of one quarter. By halftime, the Whippets led 7-0 before the Trojans scored a pair of third quarter goals.
