CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 11, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 7
Will Ross exploded for six goals to lead the Bucks to their third win in as many games this season. The senior attack man – despite being shut out in the Bucks’ 4-3 win over West Chester Henderson – has 13 goals in the season’s first week. Joey Rockovich added the hat trick while Jack Darcy and Tim Kiel both added single goals. Jake Greenberg and Ben Karthaus each had one assist.
The Bucks led 2-1 after one quarter and extended that lead to 6-3 by halftime. They outscored their visitors 3-1 in the third quarter and took a 9-4 lead into the final quarter.
K.J. Sweeney led a balanced Rock South attack with three goals, and Ryan Gartenmayer added a pair. Brendan Patterson and Even Gutman both had single goals. Brandon Follis finished with three assists and Dominic Schlupp chipped in an assist.
West goalie Steve Hogan was credited with 12 saves in a winning effort.
Central Bucks West (3-0) will host Pennridge on Friday (7 p.m.) in the SOL opener for both squads. Council Rock South (1-1) will host Unionville on Thursday in a non-league contest.

CONESTOGA 10, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 4

After CB East traveled to Pennridge Tuesday evening and beat the Rams by a score of 11-5, the Patriots traveled to Conestoga Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match up. Conestoga dominated the time of possession in the first half, but the Patriot defense led by goalie Ian Mauer, who had eight (8) saves in the first half, kept the game knotted at two goals a piece at intermission. 
The third quarter belonged to Conestoga as the Pioneers went on an 8-0 run and took a 10-2 lead going into the fourth quarter. In the final quarter, the East defense held Conestoga scoreless. East got fourth quarter goals from Mike Ott and Alec Bracken to cut the lead to 10-4, which was the final score.
Offensively, East received goals from Owen Griffin, Ryan Brown, Ott and Bracken. Defensively, Ian Mauer was credited with 11 saves in goal, Bryan McIntosh had four caused turnovers, Joe Thiroway had three, while Ott, Austin Prime, and Cal Tihansky each had one.  McIntosh led the Patriots with four ground balls, Thiroway and Conor Larkin each had three, while Brown, Logan Nelsen, Ryan Schmidt, Austin Prime, and Tihansky each had one.
The Patriots’ record dropped to 2-1, and they will play their third road game in a row when they travel to Hatboro-Horsham next Tuesday, April 5.
