SOL Boys' Lacrosse Wrap (4-17-12)

ABINGTON 17, NESHAMINY 3
Cameron Leech led the Ghosts with four goals and one assist while Shane Dunn and Matt Figueroa both contributed the hat trick. Figueroa also had three assists. Ryan Ambler added two goals and one assist, and Max Malloy (two assists), Will Dulin, Matt Lomady (one assist), Hunter Jones (one assist) and Joe Bisaquino (one assist) each had one goal. Travis O’Connor was credited with 10 saves in goal for the Ghosts.
Matt Magdelinskas, Gary Tippy and Alex McKenzie each scored a goal for the Redskins. Magdelinskas also had an assist.

PLYMOUTH-WHITEMARSH 17, NORRISTOWN 5
The Colonials opened up a 5-1 lead at the end of one quarter and never looked back, extending that lead to 13-1 by halftime on their way to the big win.
Nick Swift led a balanced PW attack with five goals and two assists, and teammate Jake Brown added three goals and one assist to lead the Colonials. John Fritz had two goals while Corey Kelly (one goal, one assist), Brandon White (one goal, two assists), Dylan Wixted (one goal, one assist), Ryan Kelly (one goal), Niko Kolkka (one goal), Christian Callahan (one goal), Alex Bilodeau (one goal), Kevin Brown (two assists), Dean Linn (one assist) and Joe Harte (one assist) also contributed.
Mike Smith and Sean Calhoun each scored two goals for the Eagles. Pat Owens added a single goal while Carson Lucard had a pair of assists. Marcus Severns, Austin Fitzsimmons and Jesse Prante each had one assist.
Andrew Sabia and Riley White combined for three saves in goal for the Colonials.

PENNSBURY 15, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2
The Falcons jumped out to a 6-0 lead at the end of one quarter and took an 11-2 lead into halftime. They did not allow a goal in the second half.
Ryan McDonald led the Falcons’ attack with four goals and one assists while Luke Matthews added the hat trick and one assist. Calvin Hopkins contributed two goals and two assists. Mike Costantini also had two goals. Colin Sullivan, Andrew Probst, Sean McDonald and Ethan Paraboschi each had one goal. Ben Schnitzler had one assist.
The Indians received single goals from Zach Zell and Trey Rogers while Brian Fitzpatrick had one assist.
Drew Sweetland was credited with six saves in goal for the Falcons – who held a 28-17 advantage in shots - while teammate Phil Jutkiewicz turned away seven shots. Rock North’s Alex Kovelesti was credited with six saves.
The Falcons improved to 4-0 in league play (7-1 overall) while the Indians are 0-3 in conference play (0-8 overall).
