Pennsbury 11, Council Rock South 8

The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie at the end of one quarter, but the Falcons outscored the Golden Hawks 4-1 in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 6-3 lead. A 5-0 scoring tear out of halftime put the Falcons on top 11-3 early in the fourth quarter before the Golden Hawks scored five unanswered goals against a Falcon lineup that included numerous reserves.

Colin Sullivan led the Falcons with three goals and one assist. Calvin Hopkins and Ryan McDonald both added two goals and one assist. Ricky Jutkiewicz contributed a goal and two assists while Grant Montgomery (one assist), Luke Matthews (one assist) and Andrew Probst each scored single goals. Dave Marr and Sean McDonald both contributed assists.

Addie Toland led the Golden Hawks with the hat trick.

Pennsbury goalie Drew Sweetland was credited with 13 saves. The Golden Hawks held a 29-27 advantage in shots.

Abington 9, Harry S. Truman 5

Junior Ryan Ambler had a hand in five goals, scoring one and assisting on four others. Nick Pisko added the hat trick for the Ghosts, and Dan Lomady scored two goals. Contributing one goal each were Matt Lomady, Gage Gormley and Max Malloy.
Truman actually led 3-1 at the end of one quarter, but the Ghosts responded by outscoring the Tigers 3-0 in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 4-3 lead. A 3-0 third-quarter surge gave the Ghosts command of the game on their way to the 9-5 win.
Council Rock North 9, Neshaminy 5
Rock North opened up a 2-1 lead at the end of one quarter and extended that lead to 6-3 by halftime. The Redskins would get no closer than three the rest of the way.
Chris Gifford led the Indians with three goals, and teammate Andrew DiSpirito added two goals and two assists. Connor D’Amelia added two goals and one assist, and Taylor Smogo had one goal and one assist. Tyler Shablin added one goal.
For the Redskins, Keenan Skeels and Alex McKenzie both contributed a pair of goals and one assist. Jimmy Roessner added a goal and two assists while Shane Quinn had an assist.
Austin Marshall had a big night in goal for the Redskins, collecting 16 saves. Mark McDonald recorded nine saves for the Indians.
