CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 15, PENNSBURY 8
In a marquee matchup of two of the SOL’s premiere squads, the Patriots earned the convincing win. The Falcons got off to a strong start, opening up a 3-1 lead at the end of one quarter, but the Patriots began to take control with a 5-1 second quarter surge to go into halftime with a 6-4 lead. Any doubts about the outcome were all but put to rest in a third quarter that saw the Patriots go on an 8-3 tear to go into the final quarter with a 14-7 lead. Both teams scored one goal in the fourth quarter.
Chris Veter led the Patriots with four goals and two assists. Ethan Debuque added the hat trick. Anthony Caselli had two goals and one assist. He also shared the team lead with five ground balls. Matt Heim also had a pair of goals while Parker Self had one goal and three assists. Contributing one goal were Zach Kane, Tyler Butler and Christopher Schneekloth. Schneekloth also had five ground balls and won 15-of-21 face-offs.
East goalie Harrison Holak was credited with nine saves.
For the Falcons, Sean McDonald, Luke Matthews and Calvin Hopkins each scored two goals. Hopkins also had a pair of assists. Evan Caterson and Ryan McDonald both added one goal and one assist. Colin Sullivan had one goal, and Lewis Sears added an assist to close out the scoring for the Falcons. Drew Sweetland was credited with 12 saves in goal.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 4, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 2
In a classic defensive battle, the Hatters rebounded from a 2-0 halftime deficit to earn the important non-league win. The Colonials scored single goals in both the first and second quarters but did not score in the second half while the Hatters scored two goals in both the third and fourth quarters. The win was the 15th straight for the streaking Hatters, who improved to 16-2.
Jimmy Durkin led the Hatters offensively with two goals. Jake Durkin (one assist) and Jimmy Murphy each scored once. Connor Kreston contributed an assist. Dom Defazio, who led a stellar defensive effort, was credited with seven ground balls. Also coming up big defensively were Tyler Gehlhaus and Jake Cresta. Mark Poust recorded nine saves in goal for the Hatters.
NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 6, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 5 (OT)
Connor Hayden scored the game winner on a breakaway in overtime to give the Lions the dramatic win. It was Hayden’s second goal of the night.
The Titans received single goals from Brett Roberts (one assist), Jacob Snavely (one assist), Tim McCrudden, Will Bendon and Jake Henze. McCrudden also was credited with 12 ground balls to lead the Titans’ defense. Tom DiBrino contributed an assist. South goalie Ryan Kelly was credited with 17 saves.
UPPER DUBLIN 13, LOWER MERION 7
Leighton Young and Michael Rama both turned in four-goal, two-assist efforts to lead the Flying Cardinals. Liam Duke also had a big night, contributing two goals and four assists. Ben Wiebrake had three assists while Pete Vernacchio, Drew Potts and Ryan Siwinski each had one goal.
The Flying Cardinals led 4-1 at the end of one quarter but found themselves deadlocked 5-5 at halftime. They seized control of the game with a 6-0 third quarter and never looked back on their way to the big win.
Upper Dublin goalie Jack Deragon was credited with 15 saves in goal.
COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 11, HARRY S TRUMAN 1
Nick Gugliemi turned in a standout effort for the Golden Hawks, contributing three goals and three assists. Corey Giampietro added two goals and two assists while Sean Quinn and Kyle Walter both added two goals. Scoring single goals for the Golden Hawks were Tommy Vanderslice and Alex Hardy.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 8, NESHAMINY 4
The Bucks opened up a 3-1 lead at the end of one quarter and took a 5-3 lead into halftime. Both teams scored single goals in the third quarter, and the Bucks sealed the win with a pair of fourth-quarter goals.
Matt Adamski led the Bucks with three goals and two assists. Jon Steigerwald added two goals and one assist while Corey Schott, Riley Kratzke (one assist) and Jeff Circuit each added one goal. Jimmy Steigerwald had one assist to round out the scoring for the Bucks, who held a 33-24 advantage in shots.
Mike Harvan turned away 11 shots in goal for West.
