Central Bucks East 13, St. Joe’s Prep 8

Sparked by the superb 18-save effort of goalie Harrison Holak, the Patriots delighted the large crowd in attendance at War Memorial Stadium on Monday night by earning the thrilling win over the Prep.
The Patriots actually dug themselves into an early hole, trailing 3-0 at the end of one quarter, but they rallied to even the score 5-5 by the intermission. The Prep took a 9-8 lead into the final quarter, but the Patriots owned the fourth quarter, outscoring their visitors 4-0 to earn the big win.
Eight players got into the scoring column as East displayed its depth. Conor McSherry had a hand in six goals, scoring a pair and assisting on four others. Chris Vetter contributed three goals and one assist while Parker Self and Warren Kuhn each scored two goals. Contributing one goal for the Patriots were Blake Ament, Ethan Debuque, Matt Heim and Matt Brodzik.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 16, Upper Merion 4
The Colonials left no doubt about which team is the American Conference's top squad, opening up a 7-0 at the end of one quarter in Monday's game against their neighboring rival on their way to a win that clinched sole possion of the conference crown. Just one win separates the Colonials - who now lead the Vikings by three games - from an undefeated SOL season.
The Colonials will close out their league season when they celebrate Senior Night prior to Wednesday's game against Norristown. A win in that game would be number 13, the most ever for the Colonials in a season.
PW is 11-0 in SOL play (12-3 overall).
Upper Moreland 14, Cheltenham 12
The Golden Bears edged the Panthers in a battle of neighboring rivals. Ellis Fattizzi led Upper Moreland with a six-goal effort. Three UM players – Ryan Christensen, Billy Costello and Talon Blickley – added the hat trick. Christensen also had three assists while Costello and Blickley each added one. Austin Sgro contributed one goal and two assists, and Andrew Benner had one goal.
In goal, Nick DeBalko was credited with 11 saves for the Golden Bears.
Hatboro-Horsham 14, Central Bucks South 3
Sean Saunders scored a team-high four goals, and teammate Kevin Sweeney contributed three goals and two assists to lead the Hatters to the big win. Jimmy Durkin had three goals and one assist, and Jake Durkin was credited with four assists. Contributing one goal for the Hatters were Cam Wiercinski, Steven Palo, Trevor Downing and Jarod Kleintz.
In goal for East, Marc Poust was credited with seven saves and Kyle Mullen had five saves. For the Titans, Ryan Kelly turned away 15 shots while Strob had a pair of saves.
North Penn 9, Souderton 6
Souderton opened up a 3-1 lead at the end of one quarter, but the Knights – who celebrated Senior Night – rallied to knot the score 4-4 at halftime. The Knights went on to outscore the Indians 5-2 in the second half to earn the win.
Chris Anton led the Knights with the hat trick while Chris Young had two goals. Dan Kohler added one goal and two assists, and Kyle Heinig, Drew Schmitz and Joe Van Galen each added one goal. Greg Olsen contributed an assist.
Ridge Schultz contributed two goals and one assist for the Indians, who also received three goals from J.P. Carroll and one goal from Josh Burke. Tyler Macdougall added an assist.
Mike Tappen turned away 10 shots in goal for the Knights, and Souderton's Grant Nice was credited with 10 saves in goal.
Springfield (Montco) 10, Norristown 5
The Eagles received a strong effort in goal from Mike Malloy, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Spartans in a non-league tilt on Monday. Sean Calhoun contributed two goals and two assists to lead the Eagles, and Jake Naseef added the hat trick.
