The Patriots swept the singles matches and came away with the SOL Colonial victory on Tuesday. Yevgen Kuryanov, Alex Knayzkov and Alan Zhang were all impressive for East. The match of the day was at No. 2 singles where Knayzkov survived a patch first set to win 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 over Vivek Kamani.
Wissahickon 6, Quakertown 1
The Trojans lost just one game in doubles action and coasted to the SOL Liberty win on Tuesday. Kevin Lobo and Josh Yulsman set the tone with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
Springfield Twp. 6, Upper Moreland 1
The Spartans swept the doubles action without dropping a set and picked up the SOL Freedom win on Tuesday. Brady Welsh and Jakob Klein set the tone at No. 1 doubles with a 6-4, 6-0 victory. In singles play Daniel Stewart got Upper Moreland’s lone point with an impressive 6-3, 6-3 win.
