Souderton 3, North Penn 1 (25-21, 25-12, 19-25, 25-19)
Trevor Bishop and Cody Leatherman had huge nights at the net for the Indians. Bishop contributed 17 kills to go along with five digs while Leatherman had 12 kills and two blocks. Zach Clemmer added seven kills and five digs, and Chris Kluka had six kills and five blocks.
The Indians improved to 7-1 in league play (8-1 overall) while the Knights fell to 5-2 in the league (6-2 overall).
Central Bucks East 3, Quakertown 0 (25-21, 27-25, 25-20)
The Patriots rebounded from a hard-fought loss against Souderton 24 hours earlier to defeat Quakertown. Setter Kyle Dolf was credited with 30 assists. Nick Bennett contributed 13 kills, 12 digs and two blocks, and Anthony Cupo had eight kills, two aces and six digs. Michael Donovan anchored the defense with 22 digs.
Pennridge 3, Cheltenham 0 (25-5, 25-18, 25-13)
Senior libero Jake Braun had 15 digs while setter Matt Trumbower had 26 assists as well as three aces. Mark Bollinger had six kills and three blocks while Matt Beck had five kills and three blocks. Kalin Nelson had five kills, and Christian Lizana had four kills, six digs and three aces as the Rams improved to 8-0 on the season.
