Neshaminy coach Pat Klingerman: "Pennridge is a very well coached team, Dave does a great job getting them ready to play. They have some monster hitters that we were able to slow down enough with our blocks and force them into tough decisions. Our guys played great tonight, the middles really stepped up and hit .725 combined tonight. That is a signature win when you travel to Pennridge and beat a team that is consistently ranked in the state. We still need to work on things and iron stuff out before we take on Spring Ford on Tuesday."
Up next: Neshaminy (17-4, 11-3 SOL) will face #6 Spring-Ford in a District 1 3A semifinal match at Pope John Paul II on Tuesday (5 pm). Spring-Ford also pulled off a second round upset, defeating #3 Lower Merion. Pennridge closed out its season with a 15-3 record overall. The Rams were 14-2 and SOL American Conference champions.
