NESHAMINY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-14)
The Redskins opened their season with a sweep of the Patriots in Monday’s non-league road contest.
Nurislam Urkunbaev and Nursultan Kadrybekov both had nine kills to lead a balanced Neshaminy attack. Beknazar Baiyshbekov added seven kills. Setter El-Mansur Sagalive had 22 assists.
For the Patriots, Kyle Knorr had a team-high eight kills. Gavin Widmer’s 20 digs led the defense.

Neshaminy coach Pat Klingerman: "CB East is a very well coached team. Bob (Minschwaner) and the rest of his staff do a great job every year getting their guys ready to compete at a high level. They made us work for every point today and challenged us at the net. Happy to come away with a total team victory."
Up next: Neshaminy (1-0) will be on the road at Northeast High School Tuesday for a non-league match. Central Bucks East (0-1) will be on the road at Souderton for Friday’s SOL American Conference opener.

WISSAHICKON 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1

The Wissahickon Trojans opened their third season with an out of conference match against the much-improved Golden Hawks of Council Rock South. 
The Golden Hawks jumped out to an early lead in set #1 and confidently took the set 25-18.  The Trojans led by junior Jonas Sabia (16 Kills) and senior Aiden Robinson (8 Kills and 6 Blocks) steadied the team and helped secure the second set 25-23.  The third set was another tough battle with the Trojans pulling out a 27-25 win. Senior captain Colin Ramos found his serving touch and had several critical runs in the second and third sets. The Trojans controlled the fourth set and secured the opening match win. 
Senior Nate Oh had 25 assists while junior Reed Harris had nine kills, seven blocks and seven digs to round out the match. Freshman Joseph Oh started at Libero and brings a youthful energy to the team. 

Up next: Wissahickon (1-0) will be on the road at Bensalem for a non-league match Tuesday, and Council Rock South (1-1) will be on the road at Downingtown East for a non-league contest Tuesday.

QUAKERTOWN 3, ANTIETAM 0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-9)
The Panthers rolled to a sweep of visiting Antietam in Monday’s non-league opener.
Vadym Mazurak’s 12 kills led the Panthers’ attack while Quinn Costanzo’s 15 digs paced the defense.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, LA SALLE 1 (21-25-, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16)
The Titans notched their second win of the young season, defeating the visiting Explorers in Monday’s non-league match. The win came on the heels of Friday’s sweep of Downingtown East.
South dropped the first set in Monday’s match but rallied to win the next three.
Jake Sciscio and Jake Wullert led the offense with 13 kills each. Gavin Roth had 35 assists and three blocks.
Libero Myroslav Lepuha and middle blocker Jon Infantino played key roles in the win.
Up next: Central Bucks South (2-0) will host Quakertown in Friday’s SOL opener.

PENNSBURY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0
The visiting Falcons earned a sweep in Monday’s non-league match.
For the Bucks, Caleb Woodring contributed six kills and five digs while Hayden Morocco had four kills and three blocks. Dalton Estes had four kills and two blocks. Setters Nick Anton (3 kills, 13 assists, 6 digs) and Chase Kerskey (8 assists, 5 digs) combined for 21 assists.
Up next: Pennsbury (1-0) will be on the road at William Tennent for Friday’s SOL opener, and Central Bucks West (0-2) will host North Penn in Friday’s SOL opener.

HAVERFORD 3, ABINGTON 0
