SOL American Conference
NORTH PENN 3, SOUDERTON 0 (26-24, 25-23, 25-16)
The visiting Knights won a spirited match with Souderton in three sets to keep their perfect record intact. The loss was the first of the young season for the Indians.
By the numbers: North Penn: Senior setter Daniel Oh (21 assists, 2 kills, one ace, and 6 digs) and sophomore setter Sam Kim (14 assists and 6 digs) combined efforts and ran an efficient offense for the Knights.
“Max Reilly led the team with 13 kills, 2 blocks, one ace, and 3 digs. Luke Giza excelled in defense while chipping in 2 kills, one ace, 2 blocks, and 8 digs. Connor Notte added one ace and 4 digs.
“The Knights’ middles and opposites ended the night with outstanding performances: Luca Dalla Costa (7 kills and one block), Jack Woodland (6 kills, 3 blocks), Shane McElroy (6 kills, one block),
Kyle Park (2 kills, one block)
“Defense was led by Libero Prithvi Patel (12 digs, 2 aces).
Souderton: Derek Stefanowicz led the offense with 10 kills. Gabe Williams had 22 assists and Connor Basile and Colton Musselman led the defense with 10 digs each.
Up next: The Knights (5-0 SOL) will travel to Kennett for the tournament on Saturday to wrap up this busy week. Souderton (3-1, 2-1) will travel to Dock Mennonite for a non-league match Friday (6pm).
PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (28-26, 25-12, 25-20)
The Rams won a tightly contested opening set and then rolled to the sweep of the host Panthers.
Logan Jalosinski (18 kills) and Bryce Ammon (12 kills) led the attack. Setter Owen Smith dished out 26 assists.

Up next: Pennridge (2-1 SOL) will participate in the Bobcat Invitational Saturday. Quakertown (1-3, 0-3) will travel to Central Bucks West on Monday.

NESHAMINY 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-21)
The visiting Redskins upped their early season record to 5-0 with a sweep of Cheltenham in conference play. They received contributions from a long list of players.
