NESHAMINY 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-18)

The Redskins made the road trip to Souderton for a non-league game a good one, earning a sweep of the Indians.

“Neshaminy is a very well rounded and well coached team,” Souderton coach Luke Pinto said. “Our team will look to regroup after a tough stretch in the schedule.”

Setter Josh Adler had 26 assists, two kills and two digs. Josh Hamilton (13 kills, 5 aces, 2 digs) led a balanced Redskin attack. Michael Sooby’s nine digs led the defense. Also contributing were Dan Berzin (6 kills, 4 digs, 1 ace, 1 block) Ben Clendening (1 kill, 2 blocks), Josh Clendening (1 ace, 2 kills, 4 digs, 2 blocks, 1 assist), Kieran Edwards (2 kills, 1 block) Brandon Sloskey (2 aces, 2 blocks), John Nice (1 kill), Liam Smith (1 assist) and Beknazar Baiyshbekov (2 kills).

 

QUAKERTOWN 3, EASTON 0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-28)

Micah Reinford had 14 kills, 14 digs and one ace to lead a strong Quakertown performance in Wednesday’s non-league sin. Zander Marks also had a big night, contributing eight kills, five blocks, one ace and 12 digs.

Setter Cody Steiert directed the offense, handing out 32 assists to go along with two kills, two aces and one block. Logan Parker added 10 digs and one ace, Kurt Glaeser had six digs and one ace, and Anthony Clark had five digs. Andrew Sturgess (5 kills, 2 blocks, 5 digs), Isaac Moises (5 kills, 5 block) and Phil Richwine (4 kills, 1 block, 5 digs) also made significant contributions.
