In Thursday’s big win, Vlad Flys led the Redskins’ attack with 12 kills and four blocks while Anthony Kirk had 10 kills and five blocks. Dave Baron added five kills and six blocks. Setter Brent Jamison had 38 assists to go along with seven blocks. Drew Keeling led the Redskins defensively with 16 digs and four aces.
Pennridge 3, North Penn 0 (25-22, 25-18, 30-28)
Austin Jacoby had 17 kills, 10 digs and three aces to lead the Rams to a hard-fought sweep of the host Knights. Zech States added 11 kills, three blocks and five digs. Erik Moyer had six kills and two blocks while Mike Shenk added five kills. Setter Will Jager had 35 assists and two blocks. Defensive libero Jake Braun had 13 digs.
Pennridge, which upped its record to 8-0, will play Quakertown at home on Monday night.
