NESHAMINY 3, PENNSBURY 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-17)
The Redskins received contributions from up and down their lineup in Friday’s sweep of their neighboring rival.
Josh Hamilton (five kills, one ace, one dig), Paul Allen (four kills, one ace, two digs) and Kieran Edwards (four kills, one block) led a balanced attack. Setter Nick Storz dished out 14 assists and also had four aces, three digs and one kill while Jesse Kovaschetz led the defense with nine digs and two aces. Also contributing to the win were Aaron Benjamin (five assists, three digs), Stephen Fario (two aces, four digs), Colin Smith (two kills, two aces, one block), Ben Clendening (one kill), Josh Clendening (one kill) and John Nice (one block).
Non-league
QUAKERTOWN 3, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 0 (25-20, 25-10, 25-17)
The Panthers rolled to a non-league sweep of the visiting Crusaders.
Zander Marks had a big night at the net, finishing with 14 kills, two aces and four digs. Micah Reinford (eight kills, three aces, four digs) and Jeff Sinsel (seven kills, two blocks, six digs) also turned in strong performances. Setter Cody Steiert had 28 assists, one ace and two digs. Jared Leatherman (two kills, one ace, five digs), Brett Musselman (one ace, two digs) and Andrew Sturgess (one ace, two digs) also contributed to the win.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-17)
The visiting Indians earned a non-league sweep of the Titans.
For the Titans, Christopher Kline led the offense with six kills and also added four blocks and one dig. Ryan Killenbeck, according to coach Matt Ehlers, had a good match with two blocks, three kills and one assist, and Sam Stobler also played consistently with one ace, three kills, one block, two assists and three digs.
