Central Bucks East 3, Souderton 2
The visiting Patriots earned a hard-fought win over the Indians in five sets.
Reid Miller (18 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks, 3 digs), Evan Blank (11 kills, 3 aces, 1 block, 12 digs), Shane Sutton (9 kills, 6 blocks), AJ Helveston (6 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks, 12 digs), Tommy LeFever (2 blocks, 4 kills) and Caleb Lyzinski (2 kills, 2 blocks) ignited the Patriots' dangerous attack at the net. Setter Ryan Coxey had 25 assists, one ace, three blocks, 10 digs and five kills. Rhys Marshall led the defense with 14 digs Kyle Knorr had three digs.
For the Indians, Derek Stefanowicz led the way with 15 kills, 11 digs and two aces, and Everett Self added 10 kills and 12 digs. Colton Musselman contributed eight kills and three digs, and Justin Doppler had six kills, four digs and three blocks. Connor Basile led the defense with 12 digs, and Dhruv Patel had 11 digs.
Central Bucks East (9-4, 8-2 SOL) will host Upper Dublin on Thursday, and Souderton (6-9, 4-6) will be on the road at Central Bucks West.
Upper Dublin 3, Central Bucks South 0
The Flying Cardinals used a balanced attack to earn a sweep of the Titans
Cory Pendleton led the attack with 12 kills, 10 digs and one assist. Gabe Copley added nine kills, two digs and two blocks, Zakary Brown had eight kills, seven digs and two blocks, and Seamus Frayne added seven kills and two blocks. Setter Scott Barenbaum handed out 31 assists and also had one kill, one ace and six digs. Dominick Plaku added three assists and nine digs.
Upper Dublin (9-2, 7-2 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks East on Thursday, and Central Bucks South (4-6, 3-6) will host Pennridge on Thursday.
Central Bucks West 3, Quakertown 0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-22)
The visiting Bucks earned a sweep of the Panthers.
Cooper Tyksinski led the Bucks with 13 kills, five aces and five digs. Dean Nugyen had nine kills and three digs while Christian Wood had five kills and four blocks. Hayden Morocco and Logan McHenry both had four kills. Setter Liam Boyle handed out 29 assists and also had four digs. Caleb Woodright’s 13 digs led the defense.
For the Panthers, Owen Reinford led the way with 14 kills and 12 digs while Miles Longacre added eight kills, two aces and two digs. Vadym Mazurak had four kills, one ace and 10 digs. Setter Sean Gillin dished out 22 assists and also had one kill, on block, one ace and 11 digs. Quinn Costanzo led the defense with 14 digs.
Central Bucks West (7-6, 5-4 SOL) will host Souderton for Senior Night on Thursday, and Quakertown (1-10, 0-9) will travel to North Penn on Thursday.
Pennridge 3, North Penn 1 (25-19, 15-25, 25-19, 25-15)
The Rams improved to 9-0 in league play with a four-set win over the visiting Knights.
Setter Evan Jalosinski had 27 assists and three kills. Bryce Ammon led a balanced attack with 13 kills and five aces, and Logan Jalosinski had 10 kills. Chris Cullen added seven kills and three blocks, and Tyler Smith had four kills, six digs and two blocks. Also contributing were Matteo Cooper (3 kills), Tyler Wolfgang (2 kills), Ethan Vo (7 digs), Pharaoh Dale (6 digs) and Justin Moyer (4 digs).
The Knights were led by Connor Notte (11 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block) and Max Reilly (10 kills, 7 digs, and 1 ace). Middles Shane McElroy added two kills and two blocks. Jack Woodland and Caden Wine both added two kills. Senior libero Brendan Nguyen led the defense with 16 digs.
Pennridge (10-1, 9-0 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks South on Thursday, and North Penn (2-12, 1-8) will host Quakertown on Thursday.
SOL National Conference
Neshaminy 3, Cheltenham 0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-23)
The visiting Redskins receive contributions up and down their lineup in a win over the Panthers.
Dan Berzin’s 12 kills led the Redskins’ attack. He also had four aces, three digs and one block. Setter El-Mansur Sagalive had 28 assists, three kills and four digs. Also contributing were Vraj Amin (3 kills, 1 ace, 7 digs, 4 blocks), Nurislam Urkunbaev (5 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs), Jake Giuliana (1 kill, 1 ace, 4 blocks). Beknazar Balyshbekov (3 kills, 1 dig, 1 block), Max Currie (5 kills, 2 blocks), Hugh Kavitsky (3 digs, 1 assist, 1 ace). Ruhan Jaikaria (1 ace) and Bobby Majoka (1 assist).
Neshaminy (8-5, 4-5 SOL) will travel to Council Rock North on Thursday, and Cheltenham (0-8, 0-7) will host Pennsbury on Thursday.
Bensalem 3, William Tennent 1
The Owls defeated the Panthers in four sets.
"Luv Patel had a strong game defensively and made some key digs in the second set.," coach Tim Linehan said.
Dev Patel (14 kills 1 ace), Jahaan Patel 13 kills 2 blocks) and Yosuf Khan (10 kills 1 block) all made big plays at the net to secure the win. Middles Vraj Patel (8 kills) and Billy Bibeck (5 kills 3 blocks) also played well for the Owls. Veer Patel (43 assists 2 aces 2 blocks) ran the offense effectively
Bensalem (11-1, 6-1 SOL) will host Council Rock South on Thursday, and William Tennent (6-4, 5-4) wiill be on the road at Abington on Thursday.

Monday, April 22

The Indians evened their league record at 4-4 with a sweep of the Titans Monday.
Derek Stefanowicz’s 15-kill, 10-dig performance led the Indians. Everett Self added six kills, two blocks and four digs while Colton Musselman had four kills, four blocks and four digs and Justin Doppler contributed four kills and five blocks. Gio Iervolino finished with three kills and four blocks.
Connor Basile led the defense with 11 digs. Setter Kelly Kim handed out 29 assists for the Indians.
