SOL National Conference
NESHAMINY 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-14)
The Redskins earned a sweep of the visiting Owls in a key conference battle.
Ben Clendening (12 kills, three blocks) and Paul Allen (eight kills, one ace, five digs, three blocks) led a balanced attack. Setter Nick Storz had 30 assists, one kill, four aces, three digs and two blocks. Also contributing were Aaron Benjamin (three aces, five digs), Josh Clendening (four kills, one dig, one block), Kieran Edwards (three kills, two blocks), Stephen Fario (four digs), Josh Hamilton (four kills, seven digs) and Jesse Kovaschetz (six digs).
Om Patel led the Owls with eight kills and one block. Adam Nevrotski (three kills, three blocks) and Luis Rodriguez (three kills, one block) also played well. Harsh Shah had 10 digs and one ace.
Neshaminy (9-1, 7-1 SOL) will host Abington on Thursday, and Bensalem (9-2, 5-2) will travel to Avon Grove for a non-league game on Wednesday.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, ABINGTON 0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-14)
The Indians maintained a share of the top spot in the conference standings with a sweep of the visiting Ghosts.
Justin Burns had a huge night for the Indians, finishing with 16 kills, 13 digs, four blocks and one ace. Abe Eldo led the defense with 22 digs. Dylan Vanschaick (15 assists, seven digs) and Geoffrey Sandhanamudi (12 assists, one ace, five digs) split setting duties. Also contributing were Riley Campbell (six kills, two blocks, three digs), Martin Nguyen (three kills, 12 digs), Carson Feldman (two kills, one block, two digs, two assists) and CJ Horan (two kills, two blocks, two digs).
Council Rock North (10-1, 7-1 SOL) will travel to William Tennent on Thursday, and Abington (4-7, 2-6) will be on the road at Neshaminy on Thursday.
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, PENNSBURY 1 (25-15, 25-19, 30-32, 25-14)
The Falcons edged the Panthers in a marathon third set to pull to within 2-1, but the Panthers took care of business in the fourth set to earn the win.
The Panthers were led by Jay Layer (three aces, six kills, 11 digs), Jack Steilen (seven kills, five blocks), Mike Carr (four aces, eight kills) and Joe Vasilevskiy (five kills).
William Tennent (3-4, 3-3 SOL) will travel to Bensalem on Friday, and Pennsbury (2-7) will host Council Rock South on Thursday.
SOL American Conference
UPPER DUBLIN 3, SOUDERTON 2 (25-16, 22-25, 25-12, 16-25, 15-12)
In a classic SOL battle that came down to the wire, it was the visiting Flying Cardinals eking out the win.
“It was a great team win against a tough opponent,” UD coach Paul Choi said.
David Levin (18 kills, 14 digs, five aces, four assists), Trevor Molloy (13 kills, 22 digs, one ace), Sean Seabrook (nine kills, one block, 10 digs) and Collin Ross (9 kills, two blocks) were a four-pronged attack at the net. Setter Spencer Beidner handed out 55 assists to go along with six kills, eight digs and one block. Colin Dowdell added five kills and one block, and Sam Moss had five aces. Sean Bainbridge led the defense with 18 digs and two aces.
For the Indians, Aidan Wunderly had a huge night at the net, finishing with 20 kills to go along with seven digs. Setter Nate Brown had 30 assists, and Tate Kreiser had eight digs.
“This one was an absolute roller coaster,” Souderton coach Luke Pinto said. “Upper Dublin played a great match and we fell just short. This is why we play volleyball, a five-set match late in the season. Both teams were grinding all night back and forth. They are extremely talented and well coached. Hate to lose but very proud of our guys fight.”
Upper Dublin (13-0, 10-0 SOL) will host North Penn on Thursday, and Souderton (10-4, 8-3) will host Pennridge on Thursday.
PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-20, 25-16, 27-25)
The Rams upped their record to 8-2 with a sweep of the visiting Bucks.
Ryan Benscoter led the way with 18 kills, seven digs and two blocks. Tyler Johnson (four kills), Bryce Muller (three kills, three blocks), Thomas McKinney (three kills) and Skyler Ammon (three kills, four blocks) also made important contributions. Setter Riley Kodidek had 27 assists, three kills and two aces. Dan Detweiler had five digs.
Pennridge will travel to Souderton on Thursday, and Central Bucks West (3-9, 2-7) will be on the road at Central Bucks South on Thursday.
QUAKERTOWN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 1 (20-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-20)
The Panthers celebrated Senior Night with a hard fought win, winning three straight after dropping the first set.
Jared Leatherman (13 kills, one ace, one block, eight digs) and Micah Reinford (13 kills, one block, nine digs) were double trouble at the net. Zander Marks added six kills, three blocks, two aces and five digs. Jeff Sinsel had two kills, two blocks, two aces and five digs. Setter Cody Steiert contributed 31 assists, three kills, one block, one ace and three digs. Kurt Glaeser had six digs, and Brett Musselman added one kill and three digs.
For the Titans, setters Eric Reizas (16 assists, two digs) and Garrett MacClay (18 assists, six kills, five blocks, and a dig) spread the ball around the team’s hitters. Outside hitters Robert Coleman (seven kills, one ace, 13 digs) and Vladyslav Bordia (seven kills, one ace, 15 digs) led the team both offensively and defensively.
Quakertown (6-6, 4-6 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks East on Thursday, and Central Bucks South (0-14, 0-10) will host Central Bucks West on Thursday.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, NORTH PENN 1

The Redskins rolled to a sweep in Monday’s non-league match, receiving contributions up and down their lineup.
