Setter Matt Trumbower was credited with 30 assists, and Christian Lizana had nine digs and three aces to lead the Rams. Mike Bollinger led the Rams at the net with eight kills while Derek Rush (four kills, five digs, two aces) and Ryan Chinnici (four kills, three blocks, three aces) also contributed.
The Flying Cardinals received 12 kills from Jordan Walden while Brian Day added eight kills out of the middle. Day also had four blocks while Curtis Carter had five. Libero Jon Lee led the team with eight digs. Walden, Dror Bareket and Jino Park also contributed digs and were a key to the Flying Cardinals’ passing game.
Dave An had 22 assists in the first two games before going out with a muscle strain. Brian Shim set the third game and recorded eight assists. An led the team in serving with seven points.
“I was pleased with the effort the boys showed, especially considering the way we played in the first meeting,” coach Matt Ehlers said. “We played well for the most part and hung in each game. I believe our team has improved since the early part of the year, and we showed that today.”
The Rams, who improved to 12-0, will travel to Souderton on Monday for a 7 p.m. match.

The Indians improved to 9-2 in league play (10-2 overall) with their win over the Titans on Friday.
