NORTH PENN 3, UPPER DUBLIN 2 (25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 23-25, 15-12)
The Knights won the first two sets, but any thoughts that this was going to be easy were put to rest when the Flying Cardinals won the next two. The Knights came back to eke out a win in the fifth winner-take-all set.
Knight setter Drew Coles dished out 34 assists to go along with two kills, two aces and three digs. Michael Wang had nine kills, nine digs and four service aces. Kevin Abraham and Alex Stoler both had seven kills. Stoler also had three digs. Zach Jayes had six kills and two blocks, and also contributing at the net was Isaac Lambert with four kills, two digs and one ace. Deval Patel led the defense with 16 digs to go along with two aces.
For the Flying Cardinals, Matt Ross had a monster night at the net, finishing with 27 kills and five blocks to go along with 13 digs. Mario Petushi added 15 kills, 11 digs and one ace. Setter Longan Loi had 32 assists and two digs. Robert Sanoski added 12 assists and one ace. Also making important contributions were Max Adams (seven digs), Joey Levin (six digs), Blake Bayles (one ace, four kills, two blocks, three digs), Alec Madden (two kills, three blocks) and Grant Molloy (one kill, three blocks).

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 2 (25-21, 21-25, 18-25, 25-16, 15-12)
The Golden Hawks rallied from a 2-1 deficit to eke out the win in five sets.
Leading the Hawks at the net was Andrew Richards with 11 kills and two blocks to go along with two aces. Shane Slavinski added eight kills, one block and two assists. Jack Leonard had one kill and two blocks, and Dillon Baptise had a pair of blocks. TJ Rodman led the defense with 12 digs and one assist.

SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-11)
The visiting Indians earned a sweep of the Titans
“We played with a good effort and focus,” coach Dave Stastny said. “It was a good team win.
Ben Campman’s seven kills led the Indians. Luke Pagan (15 assists) and Alex Zhang (nine assists) shared setting duties. Harshill Desai had seven digs.
“Souderton played really well and served strong which we struggled with,” South coach Matt Ehlers said. “First-year setter Alex Chun got some extended playing time with varsity and recorded four assists and four digs.
“Jack Hertkorn moved to play middle and had a block, a kill and a dig.”

BENSALEM 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19)
The Owls won for the third time in four matches, splitting the first two games and then winning the next two.
Shiv Patel (16 kills) and Greg Phillip (12 kills) had huge games at the net for the Owls. Basheer Ghafary dished out 31 assists. Jay Tilvawala had an excellent all-around match with five kills, seven assists, two aces and one block. Mark Hall added five kills and two blocks and Ethan Fan had five kills and one block. Both also played well, according to coach Tim Linehan.
For the Redskins, Ben McGonagle had a big match, finishing with 14 kills, 15 digs and two blocks. Tony Camillo was a force at the net with 11 blocks and six kills. Jesse Marshall added four kills and four blocks, and Colin Smith had four kills, one ace, one block and seven digs. Alex Swiderski had 11 digs and two aces, and Tyler Foxhill had one ace and nine digs. Tim Hutt led the defense with 19 digs.
“We were missing a couple of key players due to illness but had a lot of young guys get experience at the varsity level,” coach Pat Klingerman said. “It was great to see the younger players step up and contribute.”

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-8, 25-20, 25-23)
East used a balanced attack to earn the sweep of the Panthers. Carter Haban paced the Patriots with eight kills, 10 assists and three aces. Jack Miller had five kills, one ace and a dig, and Steve Storm added four kills, eight assists and four digs. Others contributing to the win were Andrew Bennett (three kills, two blocks, four digs), Jacob LaBouliere (six digs, two kills, two assists) and Ryan Figus (two digs). Patriots also collecting kills were CJ Dalby, Cal Henkels, Erik Coombs, Vishum Desai and Jack Zapf.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21)
The Bucks dropped the second set to the Panther but rallied to win the next two.
Logan Spieker had a big night for the Panthers with 23 kills. Josh Moyer added six kills and six digs, and Cameron Cronk had four kills and seven digs. Justin Flor (16 assists) and Zach Frei (17 assists) split setting duties.
