NESHAMINY 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0 (25-15, 25-23, 27-25)
The Redskins received contributions up and down their lineup in a sweep of the Golden Hawks.
Setter El-Mansur Sagalive handed out 21 assists and also had four aces, one kill and four digs. Chase Nutall led a balanced attack at the net with nine kills as well as two digs and one block. Jake Giuliana added six kills, one ace, one dig and one assist. Also contributing were John Nice (1 ace, 3 kills, 3 digs, 1 block, 1 assist), Vraj Amin (1 ace, 2 digs), Beknazar Baiyshbekov (1 ace, 1 dig), Ruhan Jaikaria (1 ace, 2 digs), Liam Smith (1 kill, 1 block), Aiden Hastings (2 kills, 1 dig, 1 block) and Muhammad Motan (1 block).
Neshaminy (5-2, 4-2 SOL) will host Bensalem on Thursday, and Council Rock South (0-7) will host William Tennent on Tuesday, April 18.
Non-league
EASTON 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-21)
The Panthers travelled to Easton for a non-league match on Wednesday, falling in three sets.
Owen Reinford’s seven kills led a balanced Panther attack. He also had one ace and five digs. Owen Williams added six kills, two aces and 10 digs, and Aiden Ziegler finished with five kills and three digs. Setter Tyler Moyer had 17 assists, one kill and one block, and Anthony Clark led the defense with eight digs and one ace. Rhauan Ferreira (2 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig), Rhenan Ferreira (3 digs) and Owen Latt (1 kill, 3 digs) also contributed.
Quakertown (0-6, 0-5 SOL) will host Pennridge on Tuesday.
