COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 1, (25-15, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18)

The Indians kept their perfect record intact, earning their third win of the season without a loss.

Justin Burns had a big night for the Indians, finishing with 20 kills, 17 digs and one ace. CJ Horan added 11 kills, four digs and two blocks. Dylan VanSchaick (16 assists, 15 digs) and Geoffrey Sandhanamudi (15 assists, four digs) split setting duties. Anthony Depalo had four kills, three digs and one block, and Brady Klein added four aces, one kill and nine digs.

 

NESHAMINY 3, ABINGTON 0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-17)

Kieran Edwards had a big night at the net for Redskins in Tuesday’s sweep of the Ghosts, finishing with 12 kills, one block and three digs. Paul Allen added eight kills, one ace, one block and eight digs, and Josh Hamilton had eight kills, two aces and 13 digs. Ben Clendening finished with five kills and two blocks, and Colin Smith had two kills and one dig. Josh Clendening added one kill, one block and one dig.

Setter Nick Storz handed out 32 assists to go along with two kills, one ace and six digs. Jess Kovaschetz added five digs and two assists, and Stephen Fario had one ace and three digs.

With the win, the Redskins improved to 4-0.

 

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 2 (23-25, 18-25, 25-13, 25-17, 17-15)

The Bucks dropped the first two sets but regrouped to win the next three, including a tightly contested fifth set.

For the Titans, setters Eric Reizas and Garrett MacClay both contributed 12 assists. MacClay also had an ace and two blocks. Chris Kline led the team in kills with eight and also had an ace. He combined on six blocks and added a dig. Defensively, senior Vladyslav Bordia led the way with 19 digs.

 

SOL American Conference

 

QUAKERTOWN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1 (25-23, 25-17, 12-25, 25-23)

The Panthers used a balanced attack to defeat the visiting Patriots.

Micah Reinford (11 kills, four aces, nine digs) and Jared Leatherman (10 kills, eight digs, one assists) led the Panthers at the net. Jeff Sinsel (five kills, five blocks, one ace, four digs), Zander Marks (five kills, four blocks, two aces, seven digs) and Brett Musselman (two kills, two blocks) also made their presence felt at the net. Setter Cody Steiert handed out 28 assists to go along with two kills and nine digs. Kurt Glaeser added one ace and six digs.

For the Patriots, CJ Dalby had 13 kills and three aces and Matt LaBouliere finished with 12 kills, four aces and eight assists. Josh Lyzinski added five kills, and Trevor Seestedt contributed three kills and an ace.

 

PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 1 (22-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22)

The Rams won their fourth straight match without a loss, earning a hard fought win over the visiting Indians.

Ryan Benscoter had huge night for the Rams, finishing with 21 kills, three blocks and three aces. Tyler Johnson added nine kills and two blocks, and Thomas McKinney had five kills. Bryce Muller finished with three kills and two aces. Setter Riley Kodidek had 34 assists. Dan Detweiler’s 13 digs led the defense.

 

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NORTH PENN 1 (25-15, 25-21, 22-25, 25-11)

The visiting Flying Cardinals upped their record to 4-0 with a win over the Knights.

Trevor Molloy’s 11 kills led the UD attack. He also had one ace, two blocks and three digs. Collin Ross added seven kills, eight blocks and two aces in a strong outing, and David Levin had six kills, five aces, one assist and eight digs. Colin Dowdell had five kills and one block.

Setter Spencer Beidner’s filled the stat sheet with 36 assists, four aces, five kills, four blocks and one dig. Sean Bainbridge led the defense with 18 digs. Sean Seabrook added nine digs, three kills and two aces, and Noah Fechter had three aces, one kill and two digs.

For the Knights, Aaron Foulke had a season high 12 kills and six blocks. Jacob An added nine kills and eight digs. Billy Dooney and Vendant Patel both had five kills. Patel also had a pair of aces.

The Redskins rolled to a sweep of the Crusaders in a non-league match Monday.

Making contributions were Josh Adler ( 1 kill, 5 aces, 2 digs), Paul Allen (2 kills, 2 digs), Ben Clendening (2 kills, 2 blocks), Josh Clendening (2 kills, 1 block), Kieran Edwards (6 kills, 4 aces, 3 digs, 4 assists), Stephen Fario (2 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs), Josh Hamilton (3 kills, 4 aces), Jesse Kovaschetz (2 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs, 2 assists), William Miller (1 assist, 4 digs), Peter Nowak (2 aces, 2 blocks), Colin Smith (1 kill, 1 dig) and Nick Storz (2 kills, 4 aces, 5 digs, 13 assists).
