Quakertown competes in Safari Invitational
The Quakertown Panthers competed in Saturday’s Six Flags SAFARI INVITATIONAL @ Great Adventure in Jackson NJ. They had seven personal bests as both VARSITY & JV toured the 5K course.
In the BOYS race, senior John Juszynski paced the "baby" Panthers, placing 22nd overall in a field of 105+, in a time of 17:04.86. Other Panthers recording "PR's" were freshman Dom Pesce (20:40.96), junior Will Dickson (21:27.15), & freshman Ethan DeAndrea (24:55.21). The Panthers Boys placed 14th (of 15 teams), with 373 points.
In the GIRLS race, the Lady Panthers were paced by junior Rebekah Hickey (20:28.58), placing 23rd overall, in a field of 110+ runners. Other Panthers recording "PR's" were juniors Katie Catalano (22:15.61) & Risa Palmer (23:01.94), along with freshmen Autumn McNutt (25:37.71) & Audrey Heimark (28:00.57).
The Lady Panthers placed 14th (of 16), with 313 points.
Quakertown will be traveling to Abington this Wednesday for a conference dual meet.
Souderton boys’ cross country takes second at Penncrest Invitational.
The Souderton Boys Cross country team placed 2nd at the Penncrest Invitational. Aidan Maie, Manny Rota-Talarico ana Aiden Kearns swept places 3-5. James Kuduk took 12th Place. The Indiana host Pennridge on Wednesday.
