ABINGTON 11, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 5
Cameron Leech led a balanced Ghost attack with three goals and two assists, and Will Dulin and Brian Gallagher both added two goals and two assists. Joey Lomaday had two goals and one assist, and Hunter Jones contributed a pair of goals. John Wink added an assist.
Matt Gormley led the defense with seven ground balls, and Abington goalie Blake Friedman was credited with seven saves.
For South, Joel Zimmerman, Brendan McGrath, Jim Gallagher, Jake Henze and Jamie Renneisen each scored a goal.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 6, PENNSBURY 5
The Falcons exploded for four second period goals to take a 4-3 lead into halftime, but the Bucks responded by outscoring the Falcons 3-1 in the third period. The Bucks knotted the score on a man up opportunity, and Corey Schott scored a goal that turned out to be the game winner. Neither team scored in the fourth period.
Schott and Kevin Ernst led the Bucks with two goals each. Clark Hawes (one assist) and Reece Udinski each added a single goal. Jimmy Seykot and Ryan Green both had an assist.
Pennsbury was led by the two-goal effort of Jared Petty. Grant Montgomery, John Conte and Lyle Arvanites each added single goals.
West goalie Mike Harvan was credited with eight saves, and Pennsbury’s Jack Kenney was credited with 11 saves.
For West, Luke Durkin won 9 of 14 face-offs. Grant Udinski led the Bucks’ defense with six ground balls. Kyle Schechter and Ryan Green each had two saves.

MALVERN PREP 11, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6
Central Bucks East lost to #9 nationally ranked Malvern Prep in non-league play this afternoon by a score of 11-6 at Malvern. This was the fifth road game of the season for the Patriots as they move to 6-2 overall (4-0 in SOL play).
Leading the scoring for CB East was Ryan Brown with two goals, Matt Heim, Matt Brown, David Gressgott and Dustin Buchanan each added one goal. Andrew DelBracco won 3 of 12 on face-offs, and Sean McGovern had 12 saves and allowed 11 goals for East.
Up next for Patriots is Pennridge in an SOL league match on Thursday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 9, WISSAHICKON 6
The Bucks jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead, and although the Trojans held a 6-4 edge in the second half, they never could make up the ground they lost.
“West dominated the draw controls and thus the first half,” West coach Tara Schmucker said. “But Wissahickon came back in the second with solid draw controls, and they capitalized on West turnovers and mistakes.
“West kept the lead with key defensive performances from goalie Molly Naylor and Jacq Fitzgerald and Madison Shields.”
Elena Romesburg led the Bucks with four goals while Meghan Tillger added two goals and two assists. Elle Ueland contributed one goal and one assist while Fitzgerald and Amanda Gundlach each added a goal to close out the West scoring.
For the Trojans, Zoe Gomez had two goals and one assist and Emily Vervlied also had a pair of goals. Shannon Stagliano and Lauren Irvine both added one goal and two assists while Rachel Zucker had one assist.
Irvine led the defense with five ground balls while Stagliano had four. Gomez and Vervlied both had three ground balls. Irvine and Vervlied both had three draw controls.
West goalie Molly Naylor was credited with seven saves while Wissahickon’s Julie Silverman had eight saves.

BOYERTOWN 18, NORTH PENN 7
The Maidens – on the heels of their strong showing against Radnor Friday – took a 6-4 halftime lead over highly regarded Boyertown only to be outscored 14-1 in the second half.
“After facing our second top 10 team in 24 hours, North Penn was leading 6-4 at the half but ran out of steam in the second half,” coach Jami Wilus Behm said.
Sydney Lear and Juliana Hill both scored two goals to lead the Maidens. The contest marked the first game action for senior Kaitlin Suzuki since tearing her ACL last season. The Temple-bound senior connected for a goal. Emily Schulze and Ashley Durham each scored a goal as well.
For the Bears, Haley Wentzel was unstoppable, contributing seven goals and two assists.
North Penn goalie Michelle Dyck was credited with 10 saves.
