Boys
PENNSBURY 7, NESHAMINY 4
The Falcons held a tenuous 1-0 lead at the end of one quarter but then scored three unanswered goals in the second to go into halftime with a 4-0 lead in Friday’s battle between the neighboring rivals. They led from wire to wire.
Offensively, the Falcons were led by Jared Petty (two goals, one assist) and Grant Montgomery (one goal, one assist), who contributed three and two-point games, respectively. Lyle Arvanites, Zach Abraham, Matt Anderson and Greg Lichtenstein each added single goals.
For the Redskins, Dan Martin had a goal and assist while David Knuckles, Kevin Goetz and Dylan Margolis each added one goal. Matt Magdelinskas added an assist.
Pennsbury senior Cameron Hansen was credited with eight saves playing behind a senior-laden defensive unit comprised of Stephen Barberides, Jack Benziger and Carter Grace.
With the win, the Falcons are 5-5 in league play, and they sent the 2014 senior class out with a big win against their rivals.

WISSAHICKON 9, UPPER MORELAND 4
Brooks Melvin (three goals, one assist) and Nate DeGroat (two goals, two assists) both had four-point games to lead the Trojans offensively. Tyler Zapech (two goals), Zach Scannapieco (one goal, one assist) and Jack Shea (one goal, one assist) each added two points. Luke Gomez had an assist.
Jack Myers had seven saves in goal for the Trojans, who broke a 2-2 tie after one quarter by outscoring the Golden Bears 3-1 in the second to go into halftime with a 5-3 lead. They outscored the Bears 4-1 in the second half.
NORRISTOWN 8, CHELTENHAM 6
The Panthers took a 4-3 lead into halftime, but the Eagles answered with a 3-1 third quarter and went on to outscore the Panthers 5-2 in the second half.
David Presch had a five-point night to lead the Panthers, contributing four goals and one assist. Thomas Hipwell and William Wallace each added single goals. Cheltenham goalie David Friedman was credited with eight saves.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 16, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 5

Central Bucks East closed out the 2014 regular season with a 16-5 win over CB South. The Patriots finished undefeated (12-0) in SOL play and 14-3 overall.
The Titans struck first at 10:51, but that would be their only lead of the night as the Patriots found the back of the net five times in the first quarter. The Titans add two more in the second to close the gap to 5-3 at the half, but in the third, Matt Milici scored three of his five goals and the Patriots added three additional goals and outscored the Titians 6-1 in the quarter to take an 11-4 lead at the end of three quarters. In the fourth quarter the Patriots added five more tallies and South added one.
East’s scoring was led by Matt Milici with five goals, Matt Heim had four goals, Matt Vetter, two goals, and five other Patriots added one goal each. Andrew Del Brocco was 15-for-23 on face-offs. Sean McGovern had 17 saves. The CBE defense led by Tyler Butler (5gb’s, 7 CT’s) Dustin Buchanan (5 gb’s, 3 CT’s) and Mike Eveland (3gb’s, 1 CT) held the Titians to 5 goals.

Senior Will Dublin (two goals, three assists) had a five-point night to lead the Ghosts in a tough non-league battle on Thursday. Junior Cameron Leech added a goal and two assists while junior Hunter Jones had two goals and Brian Gallagher, one goal and one assist. Christian Werner added an assist for the Ghosts, who received an 11-save effort from senior goalie Blake Friedman.

RADNOR 19, SOUDERTON 6
The visiting Red Raiders wasted little time before establishing their dominance, opening up an 11-3 lead on their way to the convincing win over the Indians, who brought a 15-0 record into the non-league games.
