Upper Dublin 11, Springfield-Delco 8
The Flying Cardinals closed out their regular season with an impressive non-league win over the Cougars. The Cards opened up a 6-3 lead after one quarter and took that lead into halftime. They took an 8-4 lead into the fourth quarter on their way to the important win.
Michael Sowers and Evan Scott both had three goals and one assist to lead a balanced attack. Michael Mullen added a hat trick. Jack Rapine and Max Winebrake each added one goal, and Nicholas Vernacchio had one assist.
Paul Chung won 19-of-22 face-offs in a dominant performance while Bobby McPeake turned away 15 shots in goal.
Upper Dublin closed out the regular season with a 17-1 record (14-0 overall).

North Penn 12, Lansdale Catholic 6
Scott Keffer had himself a senior night to remember, scoring five goals and adding three assists to lead the Knights to the win over their neighboring rival.
The Knights led 3-0 after one quarter and took a 6-2 lead into halftime. Not a whole lot changed in the second half as the Knights continued to score three goals in each quarter. LC never threatened.
Also for the Knights, Eric Diamond and Collin Walters each added a pair of goals while Zach McKelvie added a goal and an assist. Luke Homan had a hand in four goals, contributing one goal and three assists. Paul Kim added one goal while Owen Kelly and Jake Diamond each had an assist.
The Knights held a 36-24 advantage in shots. Goalie Trevor Bechtel was creidted with seven saves.

Central Bucks East traveled to Radnor High School Friday evening to take on the Red Raiders. East jumped out first with Matt Vetter ripping a shot early in the first period to give the Patriots a quick 1-0 lead. Radnor came right back to tie the score at one apiece. Owen Griffin scored the second goal for the Patriots to take a 2-1 lead after the first quarter. Unfortunately East was shut out the remaining three quarters and dropped a tough game by the score of 13-2.
Jack Auteri won 2-of-6 face-offs while Mike Ott won 4-of-11. Sean McGovern was credited with six saves in goal while Ryan Cataldo had four.
Dustin Buchanan had a team-high five ground balls. Matt Brown, who contributed an assist, Matt Krumenacker and Matt Vetter all had two ground balls. Griffin, Bryan McIntosh, Ryan Schmidt, Brant Billingsley, Mike Eveland and Kevin D’Andrea each had one ground ball.
Buchanan also had a pair of forced turnovers while Auteri, Schmidt and Krumenacker had one each.

Senior Jeannie Van Buren scored five goals and also had eight draw controls to lead the Ghosts to Friday’s non-league win. Sam McGee added four goals and hit a personal milestone when she connected on the 100th goal of her career.
Mikki Ryamond had two goals and seven assists while Rachel Morris had one goal and two assists. Ali Mayer added one goal. Maddie Sjoholm was credited with three ground balls.
Goalie Micaela Murcar had 11 saves for the Ghosts, who closed out the regular season with a 13-4 record (8-1 SOL).
Central Bucks East closed out the season 6-10 overall (4-5 SOL).
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 11, NORTH PENN 8
The Colonials closed out their season on a high note, upending perennial SOL power North Penn in a hard fought game. PW opened up a 6-4 halftime lead and never looked back.
“It was a very good game,” PW coach Ellen Reilly said. “We played excellent one-on-one and sliding defense.
“Our attack created several turnovers on our side.”
Kirsten Monte had a huge game for the Colonials, leading all scorers with six goals. She also had a pair of assists. Both Sophie Kolkka and Ali Diamond had a pair of goals. Maddie Berman had a single goal.
For the Maidens, senior Emily Schulze had the hat trick, connecting for the 100th goal of her career. Bri O’Donnell and Jenn Delongis both had two goals while Julia Keffer had one goal. Lauren Moore and Sydney Lear each had an assist.
“After a long week full of games, we simply ran out of gas this game,” said North Penn coach Heather Mellow, whose team was playing its fourth games in five days. “Our inability to capitalize on ground balls and draw controls finished us off today.
“The highlight was Emily Schulze being able to finish off her career at North Penn with 102 goals. Emily is a great teammate, leader, athlete and competitor! We couldn't have been happier for her today!”
Plymouth Whitemarsh closed out its season with a 7-10 record (4-5 SOL), and after Friday’s big win, the Colonials have to be wondering what might have been if they had not lost Monica Dresnin for the season in the second game.
North Penn is 10-8 overall (6-3 SOL).

Council Rock South 20, Villa Joseph Marie 18
Nikki Boyd had a huge day, connecting for seven goals to lead the Golden Hawks to the hard fought non-league win over their neighboring rivals. Mary Kate Simpson had a hand in five goals, finishing with four goals and one assist. Becca Daly, Neena Culleton and Sarah Womer each had a pair of goals while Anna DiDonato had one goal and one assist while Hannah Inchausti and Paige Schmid each had one.
Kim Starke was credited with nine save in the winning effort.
New Hope-Solebury 11, Springfield (Montco) 10
The Spartans took a 6-4 lead into halftime of Friday’s non-league game against the visiting Lions. They were outscored 7-4 in the second half.
Lindsey Smith led the Spartans with four goals, one assist and four draw controls. Caroline Pape had one goal, one assist and three draw controls. Ellie Hamilton had one goal and one assist while Marley Berger had one goal and two ground balls. Molly Fitzpatrick and Bailey Krewson both added a single goal.
Aly Evans was credited with three saves in goal.
