Johnny Ciarlante scored a pair of goals while teammates J.R. McCabe, Bryan Note, Jeremy Hefle and Tony Ciarlante each added single goals as the Panthers evened their record at 1-1. Tennent will travel to Council Rock North on Tuesday for the league opener for both squads.
BENSALEM 2, WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 1
Chris Juergensen connected for a pair of goals – the first with a Jack Lee assist and the second with an assist from Eric Corry – to lead the Owls to their second non-league win. Coach Joe Leone credited Jim McDowell for leading a solid Owl defense. The Owls will travel to Pennsbury for their SOL opener on Tuesday.
HATBORO-HORSHAM 4, PENN WOOD 3
Troy Eutermoser scored a pair of goals, including the game winner. Teammate Selvin Cordero added one goal and one assist while Eduardo Romero had one goal, and Dante D’Alonzo had two assists.
For Penn Wood, John Mansary, Abass Mansary and Anthony Saye each scored a goal.
The Hatters, who upped their record to 2-0, will open their league season on Tuesday by hosting Central Bucks East.
SOUDERTON 2, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 1
DJ Rostron scored in the 30th minute with an assist from Nick Stulb, and in the 37th minute, Stulb connected on a penalty kick. The Indians, who improved to 1-0-1, will begin conference play on Tuesday at North Penn.
GREAT VALLEY 1, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0
West keeper Redd Brown was credited with a pair of saves as the Bucks fell to 1-1 on the season. The Bucks will host Quakertown in Tuesday’s SOL opener.
NORTH PENN 4, HOLY GHOST PREP 1
Drew McMenamin scored a pair of goals while Dylan McMahon and Mike Koehler added single goals to lead the Knights to the win. The Knights will host Souderton in Tuesday's SOL opener.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2, VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 1
East got on the scoreboard first when Emma Loving (Shaun Kane assist) scored in the 45th minute. Five minutes later, Villa’s Alexa Fabbri (Taylor Stevens assist) connected for the equalizer. That tie stood until Nicole Pannella scored an unassisted goal.
“The girls continue to play as a unit and for one another,” coach Paul Eisold said of his players. “Villa is a high quality opponent, and challenged (us) on a consistent basis during the game.
“I was very impressed with their organization and continued effort to fight for the ball.”
Eisold pointed to Mariah Lichter at back, Kristen Murphy in the midfield and Abby Emmert in the back as players of impact in the win.
The Patriots, who improved to 3-0 on the season, will host Hatboro-Horsham in Tuesday’s SOL opener.
SOUDERTON 2, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 0
Kara Waskiewicz gave the Indians a lead they would not lose, scoring in the 21st minute of Saturday’s game with an assist from Kylie Heath. In the 46th minute, Heath connected, using an assist from Mady Harwick.
Souderton keeper Jackie Perry was credited with five saves as was her counterpart, Perk Valley’s Kelly O’Brien. The Indians held a 9-6 edge in shots.
Souderton will host North Penn in a 7:15 night game in Tuesday’s SOL opener.
