PAUL SHORT RUN (at Lehigh University)
Girls
Pennridge, Neshaminy, Hatboro-Horsham, Souderton and Quakertown represented the SOL in the Girls Brown division at the Paul Short Run. Pennridge finished 21st out of 42 teams while Neshaminy was 26th. Souderton junior Emily Bonaventure posted the top time of SOL runners competing in the race, finishing 14th overall with a time of 18:29.  Pennridge’s Monika Brill finished in 25th out of 370 runners with a time of 18:46. Teammate Juliet Ryan posted a time of 19:40 (58th). Freshman Kaylee McCullough was the top finisher from Neshaminy with a time of 20:12 (108th). For Hatboro-Horsham, senior Hannah Knudsen finished the course in a time of 19:20 (45th) while senior Nicole Neborg posted a time of 20:23 (120th). Junior Lily Colflesh was the first Quakertown runner to cross the finish line with a time of 21:00.

In the Girls White division, Central Bucks South finished sixth out of 38 teams. Upper Moreland and Bensalem also competed in the White division. CB South junior Nancy McGrath was the top SOL finisher, posting a time of 19:21 to finish sixth out of 298 runners. Madi Tomaselli was 15th with a time of 19:45, Anna Green was 45th with a time of 20:37, and Lisa Montgomery was 86th with a time of 21:21. Sophomore Mary Thompson posted a time of 21:03 (70th) and junior Victoria Leister crossed the finish line with a time of 21:20 (85th). Senior Patty Higgins was Bensalem’s top finisher with a time of 21:45.

Boys
William Tennent, Pennsbury, Central Bucks South, Neshaminy and Quakertown represented the SOL in the Boys Brown race. Tennent finished eighth out of 40 teams while Pennsbury was 10th, and CB South was 24th. Neshaminy junior Rusty Kujdych was the first SOL runner to cross the finish line, posting a time of 15:25 to finish third overall out of 362 runners competing in the race. Tennent senior Evan Hutton posted a time of 15:46 to finish ninth. Teammate Sean Rahill was 16th with a time of 15:56, and Christian Craig finished 50th with a time of 16:29. Jake Ringers posted a time of 17:08 (113th). Pennsbury put four runners in the top 100 – Eric Kersten (16:16, 34th), Jed Scratchard (16:25, 43rd), Aidan Sauer (16:31, 54th) and Dan Mink (16:53, 89th). CB South senior Matthew Scarpill crossed the finish line in 15:52 to finish 13th overall. Quakertown junior Hudson Delisle posted a time of 16:16 to finish 33rd overall.

In the Boys White division, Bensalem finished eighth out of 46 teams. Upper Moreland also competed in that division. Bensalem senior Aqeel Bacchus finished sixth out of 376 runners with a time of 16:22. Zak Bacchus (16:50, 26th), Tommy Brewer (17:19, 52nd) and Justin Pratt (17:46, 99th) also finished in the top 100. Shane Coll was Upper Moreland’s top finisher with a time of 18:05.

SALESIANUM INVITATIONAL (at Brandywine Creek State Park, Wilmington, DE)
Girls
North Penn dominated the Girls Varsity Championship race at the Salesianum Invitational, earning the top three places and five of the top six. Junior Ariana Gardizy was the top individual finisher out of 35 competitors with a time of 19:25.18. Junior Olivia Dyer finished second with a time of 19:46.03, and senior Mikaela Vlasic was the third place finisher with a time of 20:19.29. Sophomores Maeve Gimbert (20:43.80) and Jenna Webb (20:44.15) finished in fifth and sixth place respectively. Junior Lauren Matulevich was 13th with a time of 21:45.14.

In the Girls Large School race, Wissahickon captured the team title, finishing first out of 12 teams with 42 points. Junior Hayley Ross was the second place finisher out of 75 runners with a time of 21:41.34. Freshman Maddy Hippensteal was fourth with a time of 21:51.35. Freshman Ainsley Olszewski was ninth with a time of 22:38.23, and sophomores Katie Harbold (23:13.32) and Tara Jog (23:15.77) finished 13th and 14th respectively. Sara Brooks was 16th with a time of 23:45.53

Boys
Hatboro-Horsham finished second out of four teams in the Boys Varsity Championship at the Salesianum Invitational. Sophomore Kyle Hontz finished fifth out of 28 runners with a time of 17:27.36. Senior Brendan Quinn was 10th with a time of 17:56.89, and juniors Jared Bixler (18:04.71) and Gio Cerisier (18:16.76) finished in 11th and 12th place respectively. Sophomore Dylan Hontz was 15th with a time of 18:26.08.

In the Boys Large School division, Cheltenham finished second behind Great Valley with 88 points. Wissahickon was fourth out of 15 teams with 108 points. Trojan junior Ben Hoyer finished third out of 102 runners with a time of 16:59.62, Cheltenham finished fourth with a time of 17:22.49. Wissahickon junior Matt Maiale finished 10th with a time of 17:45.18, and Trojan junior Nathan Leung was 13th with a time of 17:50.21. Also finishing in the top 30 were Cheltenham sophomore Jason Cornelison in 17th place (17:58.72), Cheltenham senior Asad Grant in 20th place (18:12.43), Cheltenham junior Larry Hall in 22nd place (18:17.22) and Cheltenham senior Drew Crosby in 25th place (18:27.42). Cheltenham senior Will Christensen was 26th with a time of 18:27.75.
