PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN 2
The Rams broke a 1-1 tie with a pair of second half goals and then held on for the big win. Madi Reiss (Jess Tennett assist) sent the Rams into halftime with a 1-0 lead, thanks to her goal with a minute remaining in a half that saw the Rams hold a 9-8 edge in shots.
Quakertown knotted the score on a goal by freshman Becky Gerhart less than a minute into the second half (Sarah Reigh assist). The Rams answered with a goal by Kari Moyer (Kelly Wolff assist) at the 27:53 mark to go on top by one, and they extended that lead to 3-1 after Tennett connected for a goal (Jess Csaszar assist) midway through the second half. Gerhart (Scott assist) scored her second goal at the 4:34 mark to make it a one-goal game, but the Panthers would get no closer.
Pennridge goalie Sarah Seiler was credited with 11 saves while Quakertown’s Maddie Calder had 13 saves. The Panthers held a 6-3 edge in corners.
While the Panthers saw their record drop to 3-7 in the league (6-7 overall), the Rams improved to 2-7-1 in league play (5-7-1 overall).

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2, WILLIAM TENNENT 1
The Patriots won in dramatic fashion on Friday when – with less than a minute to play – Maddie Ryder scored on a breakaway, turning a pass from teammate Marissa Glatt into the game winner.
Earlier, it was Glatt spotting the Patriots a 1-0 lead when she scored with an assist from Sarah Thiroway at the 17:56 mark of the opening half. Thirty seconds later, Tennent tied it up with a direct shot by Colleen McCabe.
East coach Erin Scott credited Tennent goalie Tori Villani for making some huge stops, including a save of a penalty stroke by Glatt in the first half and then coming up with a sliding tackle to thwart Glatt on a breakaway in the second half.
Both teams had eight shots on goal. The Patriots had a 9-5 edge in corners. Villani was credited with seven saves while East’s Sam Grzegorczyk had eight saves.
East upped its record to 3-0 (2-8 SOL) while the Panthers are 6-6 overall (5-4 SOL).

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 7, ABINGTON 0
Alex Kuzma connected for the hat trick while teammate Alex Keller added a pair of goals to lead the Indians. Aubrey Deon and Amrit Ahluwalia each contributed one goal. Gabby Tofig had four assists.
While the Ghosts fell to 1-7-2 in league play (2-8 overall), the Indians upped their record to 9-1 in the league (10-3 overall).

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, CHELTENHAM 2
Rachel Konowal scored a pair of goals and Aurora Mills added a single goal to lead the Colonials to the win with Mills connecting for the game winner. The Colonials, who were without a pair of starters, had 10 shots on goal and nine corners. Goalie Victoria Byrne was credited with six saves.
The Colonials improved to 6-4 in league play (6-7 overall) while the Lady Panthers fell to 2-8 in the league (2-10 overall).

NESHAMINY 5, HATBORO-HORSHAM 1
The Redskins picked up a decisive non-league win over the Hatters on Friday. A pair of goals by Emily Curtin, the second with an Abby Alexis assist, sent Neshaminy into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Brittany Sheenan (Amanda Blum assist) made it a 3-0 game before Hatboro’s Colby Eldridge scored, using a Robyn Barbell assist. Goals by Rachel Rotteveel (Christen Pennington assist) and Sheenan made it a 5-1 game.
The Redskins held a decided advantage in shots (19-3) and corners (13-3). Hatboro goalie Emily Braunewell had 14 saves while Neshaminy’s Sarah Mitchell had two.
The Redskins improved to 10-3 overall (9-1 SOL) while the Hatters fell to 8-5 overall (7-3 SOL).
