CB West rebounded from its only loss of the season and rolled to a 38-6 win over Abington. Vance Morelli had a big game for the Bucks, hauling in a touchdown pass, rush for a TD and returning a punt for another. Quarterback Noah Miller ran for two touchdowns and threw for another.
CB South earned its fourth win in as many games with a 34-15 win at Central Bucks East in its conference opener. Senior quarterback Owen Pinkerton had another big game, finishing with five completions for 113 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Central Bucks East Patriots @ Pennsbury Falcons

Last Week:
CB East received another big performance from sophomore running back Mike Price, who had 159 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries, but the Patriots fell to undefeated Central Bucks South 34-15.
Pennsbury came up just short in its game at Pennridge, falling in a close one for the second year in a row – this time by an 18-13 score. Junior Jordan Brensinger had his fourth 100-plus-yard rushing game in as many outings.

North Penn was impressive in its convincing 37-7 win over Neshaminy, the Knights’ fourth win in as many games. Highlights included an 89-yard touchdown run by Josiah Coleman, a 49-yard field goal by Ryan Bocklet and a pair of touchdowns by Matt Pownall – one on a 21-yard run and the other on a 13-yard TD pass from quarterback Matt Bucksar.
Pennridge earned its third win in a row after dropping its season opener, defeating visiting Pennsbury 18-13. Junior quarterback Noah Keating threw for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Marshall had six receptions for 94 yards and a TD. Trevor Fuhs and Ryan Rowe led a standout defensive effort.

Abington Ghosts @ Neshaminy Redskins

Last Week:
Neshaminy fell to undefeated North Penn 37-7 with quarterback Michael Eckart accounting for the Redskins’ lone score with a 76-yard TD run.
Abington trailed Central Bucks West 20-0 by halftime and fell behind 38-0 before a late score in a 38-6 loss.

Souderton opened conference play with a 38-0 rout of Harry S Truman. Junior quarterback Ben Walsh threw for 167 yards and a touchdown.
Quakertown earned its first win after a tough non-league schedule with a 49-21 victory over Bensalem. Gavin Carroll had a huge night, finishing with 173 yards and three touchdowns.

Council Rock South Golden Hawks @ Upper Dublin Flying Cardinals

Upper Dublin was in complete command from the outset in its 42-7 rout of Council Rock North. Ron Shepherd led a balanced attack with 109 yards and three touchdowns.
Council Rock South rallied from a 28-15 halftime deficit to defeat Cheltenham 29-28. Junior Shane Myers ran for three touchdowns, and sophomore Gavin Lacey scored the go-ahead TD.

Cheltenham Panthers @ Bensalem Owls

Cheltenham took a 28-15 lead into halftime but was shut out in the second half in a 29-28 loss to Council Rock South. Sophomore quarterback Kendall Jackson threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns.
Bensalem fell to Quakertown 49-21 in its conference opener despite a huge game from junior Aidan Mayfield, who ran for 215 yards and three touchdowns.

Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials @ Penn Wood Patriots

Plymouth Whitemarsh more than held its own in a 20-18 loss to defending District 3 6A champion and state semifinalist Manheim Township. The Colonials led 12-0 early and had an 18-17 lead only to see the Blue Streak connect on a field goal in the closing minute to eke out the win.
Penn Wood saw its record drop to 1-3 with a 36-20 loss to Academy Park. Senior Quadir Johnson-Jones ran for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Lower Moreland Lions @ Springfield Spartans

Lower Moreland upped its non-league record to 4-0 with a 20-14 win over Morrisville. Senior quarterback Ky’iere Rankins threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Springfield won its third straight game after dropping its season opener, edged Elizabethtown in a thriller 24-21. The Spartans led 21-0 early only to see the Bears rally to knot the score. Springfield won it on a 30-yard field goal by Bobby Hartman.

William Tennent Panthers @ JP McCaskey Red Tornado

Wissahickon opened up a 28-0 halftime lead on its way to a 42-14 win over Sun Valley. Leading the Trojans to their third straight win was quarterback Nolan Pounds who threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

Hatboro-Horsham Hatters @ Academy Park
