Hatboro-Horsham 15, Souderton 14

The Hatters jumped out to a 10-5 halftime lead and still led 14-9 late in the game, but with the Hatters in a delay game, the Indians capitalized on several turnovers to make it a 14-13 game on a goal by Danielle Notvest with 1:43 remaining. Julie McKay scored on the ensuing draw to put the Hatters on top 15-13 before Souderton’s Liz Mower scored in the game’s closing seconds to make it a one-goal game.
Cortnee Daley led the Hatters with three goals and four assists while Lizzy Carr and Nicole Beck both had three goals and one assist. McKay and Caroline Hagan (one assist) both added a pair of goals, and Rachel Rausa and Laura Cresta each scored one goal.
For the Indians, Danielle Notvest scored four goals, and Kirstin Russell and Mower both had three goals. Russell also had two assists and Mower, one assist. Tori Bulgier scored two goals, and Carley Kendall and Ziegler (one assist) both had single goals.
Souderton goalie Kaitlyn Crouthamel turned away four shots before leaving the game with an injury. Her replacement, Jen Bergey, was credited with six saves. Hatboro’s Jackie Giovinazzo had six saves.
Central Bucks South 15, Pennridge 6
The Titans seized early control of Tuesday’s game at Pennridge, opening up a 6-1 halftime lead on their way to the decisive win.
“Our defense really came together, and our slides were there, which we have been working on every day at practice,” coach Janique Craig said. “Our attack had some great combinations, and they were all creating space. We had some great quick passes into shots, which were nice.
Craig acknowledged the strong performances down low of defenders Casey McGowan, Megan Hamilton and Devon Dietzal.
“They played very well together,” the Titans’ coach said.
Kelly Hamilton led the Titans’ attack with four goals and two assists, and Mackenzie Harding added three goals and one assist. Contributing two goals were Casey Haegele, Kayla Kenney and Taylor Michener. Haegele and Kenney both added a pair of assists. Maddie Dibrino (one assist) and Kristen Lawlor both scored single goals.
Pennridge was led by the two-goal efforts of Sarah Wiley and Rabanger. Nikki Beck and Julia Colyar both added single goals.
Upper Dublin 12, Wissahickon 0
The Flying Cardinals sprinted to a 6-0 lead and never looked back on their way to the big win over their neighboring rivals. Kelly Cross led Upper Dublin with five goals and two assists, and teammate Emily Hitchings contributed the hat trick. Brooke Callahan and Taylor D’Ginto both scored a pair of goals with Callahan also contributing three assists.
Upper Dublin’s defense was led by Steph Speese and Lily Morreale. Goalie Anna Lauer had three saves for the Cardinals while Jess Scannapeico had nine saves for the Trojans, who were minus several starters on Tuesday.
North Penn 16, Central Bucks West 10
Rachel Shaw had a big afternoon for the Maidens, contributing six goals, one assist and four draw controls. Garrie Grenfell added four goals, and Brenda McDermott contributed three goals and two assists. Kait Suzuki, Maddy Humphrey and Macie Hauck each added single goals to close out the scoring. Hauck also had two assists.
North Penn led 9-5 at halftime.
Jenna Stover turned away nine shots in goal for the Maidens, who held a 30-19 advantage in shots.
