“It’s been that kind of season,” coach Kelly White said. “I’m still trying to figure the team out and what motivates them and what gets them ready to play.
“They seem to respond a lot to getting themselves in a hole and then working their way out of it. To their credit, today it worked, but it’s not going to work against a lot of teams.”

“My attack is young – we only have one senior on the team, and they kind of get flustered when things don’t go the way they think things will go. The first 10 minutes was a little flustering for them, but once they got the feel of the draw and dump, they really did a beautiful job. I was proud of them.”
Falcon goalie Liana Eyre was credited with 15 saves.
“She killed it today,” White said. “She came out a little flat as the rest of them did, but after that, she was just rocking out saves left and right.
“In the second half, she really kept us in the game. She definitely deserves all the credit. She had an amazing game.”
