SOL Girls' Lacrosse Wrap (5-9-12)

NORTH PENN 21, PENNRIDGE 4
The Maidens celebrated Senior Night with a big win in their regular season finale on Wednesday. Seniors Rachel Shaw (six goals, two assists) and Brenda McDermott (six goals, two assists) turned in stellar performances to lead the Maidens. Aubrie Stouffer (one assist), Tara Rogers and Kaitlin Suzuki each added a pair of goals. Hannah Young, Emilie Ikeda and Danielle Meeker added single goals.
Jenna Stover (seven saves) and Lauren Smith (three saves) split time in goal for the Maidens, who finished the regular season 10-2 in league play (13-4 overall). The Rams fell to 3-8 in the league (5-12 overall).

HATBORO-HORSHAM 18, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6
Nicole Beck, Cortnee Daley and Julie McKay each scored three goals to lead the Hatters. Daley also had three assists. Lizzy Carr (two assists), Rachel Rausa (one assist) and Casey Swezey each added two goals, and Caroline Hagan, Katie McKay and Laura Cresta also added an assist.
Sam Axenroth had a pair of goals for the Patriots while Mary Kate Schwartz, Maggie Stella, Lauren Wick and Marissa Glatt each added single goals. Schwartz and Glatt also had an assist.
Madi Steuber turned away 16 shots in goal for the Patriots, who closed out their season with an 0-12 record in league play (3-13 overall). The Hatters improved to 11-0 in the league (15-2 overall).

PENNSBURY 14 PENNSBURY 8
Joy Hopkins scored five goals while teammate Kelsy Gumbert had a hand in six goals, contributing three goals and three assists. Elle Fagan and Carson Smith both had two goals, and Jackie Sweeney (one assist) and Alyssa Matthews each added one goal. Rachel Pierce had an assist.
For the Patriots, Maddie DiBrino had two goals and two assists while Devon Deitzel had two goals and one assist. Anne Danyluk, Brynn Dietzel, Megan Hamilton and Mackenzie Harding each added one goal. Hamilton also had a pair of assists.
Leslie Searles had a big night for the Titans, turning away 20 shots in goal. Pennsbury’s Liana Eyre was credited with nine saves in goal.
While the Titans fell to 8-10, the Falcons improved to 13-5 overall.
