UM highlight match: Gabby Teel (2nd singles) came from a set down to force a third set. It was a very close match with long rallies. Erica Stone defeated Gabby Teel 6-3, 6-7, 1-0. “They played a super tiebreak in lieu of a full third set,” UM coach Angela McClenton said. “The score of the super tiebreak was 11-9.”

In singles play, freshman Amanda Yang earned a 2-0 win (6-3, 6-0) to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Souderton’s second doubles team of junior Bridget Magee and junior Allison Magee notched a 2-0 win (6-1, 7-6 Tiebreaker) to up their record to 2-0 on the season. At third doubles, Souderton senior Clark Trowbridge and senior Hannah Kratz won 2-0 (6-2, 7-5). They are 1-1 on the season, at fourth doubles, Souderton seniors Medha Kurukunda and Olivia Stiedle notched a 2-0 win (7-6 Tiebreaker, 6-4) to even their record at 1-1 on the season.
