WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-12, 25-20)
Michelle Fox led the Panthers at the net with 18 kills while setter Hannah Washam spread the ball around, dishing out 28 assists.
“I thought our girls did a great job coming back after the match was tied up 1-1 and really played well,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said. “We received outstanding defensive efforts from C.C. Weir, Maura Carr and Sam Laub.
“We really played well defensively and have been making some good strides in that department. Maria Jose Alanis had nine blocks up front, and she really helped alter some swings and allowed our back row to get in good position.”

Julia Staub led the Redskins with 22 assists, seven digs and three kills. Middle hitter Amy Paulits added 10 digs nine kills and two blocks while fellow middle Jen Harasim contributed six kills and four blocks. Kelly Mason had 19 digs and an ace. Megan Oberholtzer added 10 digs, five kills and an ace.
“Our kids had one good game tonight, but the match belonged to Tennent,” Redskin coach Kate Livingstone said. “Coach Bassler’s team is playing with such confidence that they were able to control the tempo tonight.”

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, NORRISTOWN 0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-14)
Kathryn Lucca and Carly Black led the offense with 17 and 12 kills respectively. Quinn O’Donnell contributed three blocks. Candyce Riley had four service aces, and Lucca served for 19 points. Caitlin Klotzbach and Riley led the defense. Setter Sam Jones dished out 35 assists.
“The win was a total team effort,” said coach Kathy Tanner.

UPPER MERION 3, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 0
Monica McLenigan led PW’s defense with 11 digs while Anna Waltz added 10 digs to go along with five kills and one ace, and teammate Giovanna Jenkins had nine digs and four kills. Emily Houck also had five kills, and Elizabeth Keefer chipped in with four kills, two digs and two blocks. Tori Biggins had 11 assists and one dig, and Riley Hellings had four assists and three digs.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0
CB South freshman setter Kaitlyn Kushman had 40 assists and seven aces while senior Meghan Kaminski had a big night at the net with 19 kills to go along with four aces. Giuli Frendak had six kills and three aces, and Jayne Mulhern led the defense by digging 24 passes to the setter. Lauren Wise and Jill Danyluck blocked six assists, and Catherine Fayer had two aces.
“In game two, it was more challenging play because they dug everything and covered very well,” South coach Ulana Keer said. “Our team did everything they could to not make errors, and they pushed us to play our very best. I’m very excited and proud of everything our team is accomplishing so far.”
For the Patriots, Madi Staub led the defense with 15 digs while teammate Ilana Bershtein had eight digs. Courtney Kauffman had six kills and a hitting percentage of .375. She also had five blocks. Kelsey Arm had four kills and a hitting percentage of .500 to go along with two aces. Rachel Clow (four kills, seven digs) and Caroline Davis (15 assists, three kills, three aces, two blocks and six digs) also made important contributions.

PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 1 (16-25, 25-13, 25-12, 25-13)
The Indians won game one, but the Rams – who celebrated Senior Night – rallied to win the next three.
“The girls’ are pumped for their own Senior Night, which is Thursday,” Souderton coach Marlena Musselman said.
Alexa Kluka and Jen Spause each had three kills to lead the Indians. Miriam Doepner, Hayley Sparks and Grace Pinto all had a pair of kills. Sam Cressman had 13 assists. Defensively, the Indians were led by Megan Miller (13 digs), Alexa Kluka (seven digs) and Sam Cressman (six digs). Kluka also had a block while Pinto and Lindsay Martin each had an ace.

WISSAHICKON 3, UPPER DUBLIN 2 (27-25, 23-25, 25-13, 17-25, 16-14)
The Trojans won an intense battle with their neighboring rivals.
“All five games were highly competitive,” coach Mary Copelli said. “We are very proud of the effort that was displayed in the local rivalry.”

NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-13)
Megan Gallagher had a big night at the net with eight kills and three blocks to go along with three aces. Teammate Stephanie Elechko had nine kills and five blocks. Rachel Allen led the Maidens’ service game with seven aces to go along with 10 assists. Senior setter Kendra Allen had 13 assists, seven kills and three blocks. Libero Alyssa Chiodo had a team-high 15 digs and two kills while Danielle Dungee had six digs.
