PENNSBURY 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-10)
The Falcons wrapped up the National Conference title with their sweep of the Redskins.
“I’m extremely proud of the team for finishing strong and securing a league title,” coach Michael Falter said. “We have been improving with each practice and match over the last two weeks.
“We’re playing aggressive, consistent volleyball while increasing the level of our play. Hopefully, we can continue to progress and set ourselves up to have a successful playoff run and accomplish a few more team goals that we have been working towards.”
Cara Reilly had a huge night at the net, contributing 18 kills to go along with seven digs. Sarah Hludzinski had nine kills, and Taylor McCartney had eight kills and six digs. Ava Patterson (six kills, four service aces, seven digs) and Brandi Steiner (six kills) also made important contributions. Dagny Gould (four digs) and Kelsey Ongradi (three digs) also contributed defensively.
For the Redskins, Danielle Catapano had eight digs, five assists and two kills. Molly MacDonald had seven digs and one ace. Mackenzie Maher had three kills and two blocks, and Jasmine Oliver added two kills.
“Pennsbury is even stronger now than they were at the beginning of the season,” Neshaminy coach Kate Livingstone said.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (25-23, 16-25, 25-23, 28-26)
Senior outside hitter Katie Quinn had a huge night at the net for the Golden Hawks, contributing 22 kills to go along with nine digs, one ace and one block. Junior middle blocker Donna Spiteri added seven kills, five blocks and one ace. Junior setter Melissa Nicholas had 22 assists and 11 digs, and senior outside hitter Kelly Nicholas had five kills, two aces and 11 digs.
“I was very proud of the team and the effort they put forth tonight,” Rock South coach Kelly Korn said. “This is a team that has grown and matured throughout the season in so many ways. They played their hearts out and came so close.”
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-9, 25-5, 25-14)
The Panthers celebrated Senior Night by winning their 18th straight match. Seniors Ashley Weidman, Danielle Hebling, Chelsea Gallagher, Casey McMahon and Cecilia Weir all had great nights, according to coach Brian Bassler. The Panthers closed out the regular season with a 19-3 record.
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2 (20-25, 25-11, 18-25, 25-22, 15-13)
The Titans earned a gutsy win over the Continental Conference champion Patriots, rallying from a deficit to win game four and going on to earn the win in the fifth and deciding game.
“It was an exciting night at South tonight,” Titans coach Ulana Keer said. “It was the battle of the CB teams like no other.
“I want to congratulate East on their title. It is well deserved. I know they did not have their libero, which is a huge problem, but on the flip side, we have struggled with non-stop injuries over the last week. It has been challenging, but with that said, we had fun tonight.”
Keer went on to laud the performances of several players.
“Jax Babezki played huge, blocked and served well for us – never let the team down,” the Titans’ coach said. “Madi Conroy fought hard for every point. Cecilia Miller was very consistent in serve receive and hitting a great ball for us.
“Taylor Danilowicz bounced back from her injury to get kills for us, and Lindsey Edling played great defense and served well in the fourth and fifth games. Caitlyn McCrory served well and dug well. Larissa Keer was the rock in defense and kept the team alive when we were struggling.”
For the Patriots, setter Lauren Helveston had 51 assists. Her favorite targets were Bridget Terrel (15 kills), Rachel Clow (13 kills) and Hannah Lunak (11 kills). Helveston also had four service aces. Terrell and Laura Kennedy each had 10 digs while Clow had nine. Nicole Krzeminski had a team-high 14 digs. Lindsay McIntosh had five kills and two blocks.
PENNRIDGE 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-10)
The Rams continued their winning ways, sweeping the Maidens. Ariana Pryzbylowski had six kills. Setter Julia Donnelly had 15 assists, and Kara Weaver and Sarah Nuneviller both had four kills. Jen Kuhns led the defense with 12 digs.
QUAKERTOWN 3, SOUDERTON 2 (25-19, 20-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-12)
The Panthers rallied from a 2-1 deficit to earn the win. Amanda Pursel had a big night, contributing 12 kills and five digs. Liana Buonanno Taylor (eight aces, nine digs, two kills), Haley Sheehan (eight kills, one block) and Katelyn Spieker (five kills, three blocks) also made important contributions. Setter Jen Sterner had 16 assists and four digs.
For the Indians, sophomore libero Savannah Bostwick had 24 digs and three aces. Stef Kluka (eight kills, four blocks), Melissa Gould (eight kills, three blocks), Jess Overpeck (seven kills, six digs) and Alycia Beebe (six kills, two blocks) all had big nights at the net. Lindsay Martin led the Indians’ service game with four aces to go along with five digs. Anna Dudzinski had two aces and six digs, and setter Cori Watson had 30 assists and four aces.
HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, NORRISTOWN 0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-19)
The Lady Hatters celebrated Senior Night by defeating the Eagles in three straight. Senior Anna Mitchell was there to cheer on her teammates only a few days after reconstructive ACL surgery. Seniors Katie McKay and Hannah Steiger were big contributors. McKay had four kills, four digs, two aces, and five assists. Steiger dished out 17 assists and served ten points. Other contributors included junior Sam Jones with 14 kills, sophomore Cassidy Quattro with nine kills and Sophomore Jaimee Stoczko with five kills. Junior Rachel DeMarco, Jones and junior Candyce Riley led the defense with 12, 11, and 10 digs respectively.
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, UPPER DUBLIN 1 (25-19, 25-13, 13-25, 25-18)
Cara Sweeney led the Colonials at the net in Wednesday’s win, contributing 12 kills. Emily Houck added nine kills and six digs, and Rachel Isackman had six kills and five digs. Jocelyn Porrino had five kills. Defensively, Keelin McEleney had 18 digs while Katie Kennedy had 10.
For the Flying Cardinals, Taylor Stek had a big day, contributing 15 kills, seven digs, one block and one ace. Melanie Phifer had 10 kills, 10 digs, one block and five aces, and Taylor D’Ginto had 27 assists, three kills, seven digs, one block and four aces.
ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 1

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, RIDLEY 0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-18)
The Panthers, who are certifiably hot, continued their winning ways on Tuesday, but they got a bit of a scare at the end of game one when standout defensive player CC Weir was injured and did not play in the second game.
“Maddie Richard stepped up and played well for us,” coach Brian Bassler said, noting that Weir returned for the third game. “It was great to see the team rally together and fight through the loss of one of our top players.”
Sophomore setter Alex Koppany handed out 33 assists to go along with four digs and four aces. Jaime Bonner led the Panthers at the net with 11 kills to go along with eight digs. Chelsea Gallagher had 10 kills and a team high 13 digs. Weir – despite sitting out the second game – had 12 digs. Richard had two digs and two aces off the bench.
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 25-12)
Emily Houck had eight kills to lead the Colonials at the net while teammate Cara Sweeney had four. Keelin McEleney had 15 digs to lead PW defensively while Houck and Tori Biggins each had five.
For the Panthers, Amanda Pursel had 10 kills, one block and four digs. Liana Buonanno Taylor had 12 digs and five aces. Setter Kerry Vanyo had 12 assists, seven digs and one ace, and Katelyn Spieker had nine kills and three blocks.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19)
Setter Lauren Halveston dished out 34 assists and also had 12 digs to lead the Patriots defensively. Hannah Lunak had nine kills while Rachel Clow added eight and Bridget Terrel, six kills. Terrel, Clow and Nicole Krzeminski each had 10 digs while Laura Kennedy had nine and Erin Lane, eight digs.
For the Golden Hawks, senior outside hitter Katie Quinn had 11 kills and 11 digs, and senior outside hitter Kelly Nicholas added seven kills, 14 digs and six aces. Junior middle blocker Donna Spiteri had seven kills, three aces and one block, and junior setter Melissa Nicholas had 18 assists and 12 digs. Senior libero Lexie Kremp had 27 digs and one ace.
CHRISTOPHER DOCK 3, SOUDERTON 2 (20-25, 25-19, 25-17, 17-25, 15-8)
Sophomore libero Savannah Bostwick had a big night for the Indians, contributing 36 digs. Terry Wilcox had a team-high 12 kills to go along with six digs. Jess Overpeck added 10 kills. Setter Cori Watson handed out 26 assists and had a team high 10 digs. Liana Reinford added eight digs.
PENNSBURY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-16)
The Falcons used a balanced attack in their sweep of the Titans. Cara Reilly (eight kills, nine digs), Ava Patterson (seven kills, nine digs, four aces), Brandi Steiner (seven kills) and Lauren Bransfield (six kills) all made important contributions. Taylor McCartney added nine digs and five kills, and Dagny Gould had eight digs.
