COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, PENNSBURY 1 (25-14, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15)
The Indians moved one step closer to a conference crown with their hard fought win over the Falcons.
For the Indians, junior outside hitter Ashleigh Adams led the way with 19 kills, 20 digs, seven aces and one assist. Senior outside hitter Mary Baniewicz added 14 kills, nine digs and one ace. Senior middle Julia Walton had five kills, two aces and one dig. Junior setter Kate Logan contributed 37 assists, nine digs and one ace. Senior libero Mikayla Adams added 15 digs, two assists and three aces. Senior opposite hitter Cora Lake finished with four kills and 5 digs. Senior middle hitter Sabrina Pasemann contributed four kill and four blocks. Sophomore opposite hitter Ainsley Jordan chipped in two digs.
For the Falcons, Izzy Marinelli led the way with 19 kills, nine digs, one block and one ace. Kat Croteau added five kills, 10 digs and two aces. Setter Carissa Van Veen handed out 25 assists to go along with two kills, two blocks and one ace. Keira Rogan had six digs. Also contributing were Janae Scott (two kills, one block), Ava Sciolla (two kills, three blocks), Kira Sendlock (four aces, two digs) and Stephany Adamousky (four aces, four digs).
SOL Colonial
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-18)
The Patriots used a balanced attack to earn a sweep of the Panthers.
For the Patriots, Sophia Mettille had 13 assists, two aces and six digs. Katie Monaghan added 10 assists, three kills and six digs. Aimee Wolf contributed six kills while Anna Huchko had a great night with four kills, one block and two digs. Caroline Eldringhoff had two kills and two digs. Chloe Mettille added two aces and 13 digs, surpassing 500 in her career. Kat Montabana led the attack with eight kills and Kaylynn Bryan had seven kills, one ace and nine digs. Olivia Bennett added one kill and Taryn Zakrzewski had three aces and three digs.
