SOL National Conference

 

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-10, 25-20)

Naomi Woo had a big night to lead the Bucks to their win over the visiting Golden Hawks, finishing with 13 kills, six blocks, two aces and four digs. Setter Ana Claricurzio had four aces, seven kills, two blocks, 13 digs and 31 assists. She is approaching the 2,000-assist mark with 1,905 career assists.

Also for the Bucks, Jada Reichwein had nine kills, two blocks and six digs, and Maggie McCusker had six kills, three aces, two blocks and 11 digs. Jordyn Klementovich had 13 digs, three aces and one kill, and Sarah Tartaglia had four kills and six digs. Emily Holyk had three kills and two blocks. Maggie Winderman had six digs and two aces, and Caroline Taylor had two aces and four digs.

For the Golden Hawks, Ariana Rannieri had eight kills, five digs and one ace. Lauren Dougherty had five kills and two blocks. Katie Rodman had 11 digs and two aces. Ava Paulson had nine assists and four kills, and Alissa Helverson had four kills and 15 assists.

 

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-9, 25-7, 25-14)

The Patriots notched a team win with contributions from everyone.

Anna Ritter led a strong service game with eight aces, two digs and 12 assists. Kaylynn Bryan had six kills and one ace to lead a balanced attack. Morgan D’Angelo had 13 digs and one ace. Also contributing were Vivien Agassi (four kills, three aces), Sophia Mettille (eight assists), Aimee Wolf (two kills, three blocks), Anna Huchko (two kills), Abby Killough (two digs), Ava Napoletano (three kills), Caroline Eldringhoff (two kills), Chloe Mettille (three aces, three digs), Camille Larson (one kill), Maddy Lacouture (two kills), and Olivia Bennett (one kill).

 

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-14, 19-25, 25-12, 25-23)

The Panthers earned a four-set win over the Redskins.

Chiara Ciccone led the defense with 26 digs to go along with five aces. Christina Sienkiewicz had 10 digs and five aces and had some strong service runs. Sara Ingham had 11 kills and Grace Marsland also had 11 in what coach Brian Bassler described as her best match of the year. Riley Morgan had eight kills while Julia Booz and Julia Richard combined for 35 assists.

“Mackenzie Clee had a nice all-around match with 11 digs and five kills,” Bassler said. “Sarah Cummins, Shannon Hebling and Brianna Zysk also stepped up and made big plays.”

 

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-20)

The Indians earned a sweep of the visiting Titans.

For the Titans, senior setter Lizzie Shirley had 26 assists, four digs and one ace. Sophomore outside Millie Grove led the attack with 14 kills, five digs and one ace, and senior middle Allie Burke had seven kills and two blocks. Sophomore Rian Grant had two aces and three digs.

 

 

SOL American Conference

 

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, PENNRIDGE 1

The Hatters took a giant step toward defending a conference title they owned, handing the Rams their second loss in conference play. Hatboro-Horsham is the only squad with just one conference loss.
Seniors Cam Wild and Rickelle Wescott led the offense with 22 and 13 kills respectively with senior MaryKate Scully adding nine to the mix. Sophomore Grace Howard had a great night at the service line with five aces. Junior libero Jess Howard anchored the defense with 23 digs with Cam Wild adding 15.

 

UPPER DUBLIN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0

The Flying Cardinals received contributions from their whole squad in their sweep of the Panthers. Anna Faust attained a milestone when she contributed the 1,000th dig of her career.

Maggie Faust led the Cardinals with three aces while Sophia Sabri and Emily Senior led the way with seven kills each. Sarah Randall had five kills. Setter Lauren Price led the team with 24 assists. Anna Faust led the defense with 22 digs.

 

SOUDERTON 3, WISSAHICKON 1 (20-25, 25-9, 25-20, 25-14)

The Indians dropped their first set but rallied to win the next three. Leading the way were the squad’s seniors.

Senior setter Maya Hanson had 20 assists, four aces, five kills and 15 digs, and senior Amelia Hanson had eight kills, four digs and one ace. Senior Hana Ekecs added two aces, three kills, one block, two assists and 14 digs, and senior Christy Mack had three aces, one kill and six digs. Senior Olivia Anello added two blocks. Junior Liv Horas had four aces, six kills and one block, and sophomore Alyssa Reiner had two aces, five kills, one block and four digs.

 

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, NORTH PENN 1 (25-22, 9-25, 25-12, 25-12)
The Colonials were led by Aja Smith with 6 aces, 23 kills and 11 digs. Julia Walker had 3 aces and 17 digs. Sophia Repholz had 2 aces, 8 assists and 30 digs.

 

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-9)
