SOL National Conference

 

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-15)

Setter Anna Ritter dished out 21 assists, spreading the wealth around and getting many of her teammates swings at the net. She also had six digs. Sophia Mettille had 11 assists, one ace and four digs. Vivien Agassi led a balanced attack with 10 kills to go along with one block, Maddy Lacourture had eight kills, one ace and one block while Ava Napoletano added seven kills. Caroline Eldringhoff and Kaylynn Bryan both had five kills. Bryan also had 11 digs and three aces. Morgan D’Angelo led the defense with 20 digs and passed a 2.94. She also had an ace. Also contributing were Chloe Mettille with three aces and two digs, Anna Huchko and Camille Larson with one kill and one dig each. Abby Killough had two digs.

 

SOL American Conference

 

ABINGTON 3, SOUDERTON 1 (25-23, 18-25, 25-17, 26-24)

The young Ghosts squad picked up a big conference win, defeating the Indians in four sets.

“We have a super young team, who I think they finally played to their potential today,” Abington coach Dan Marsh said.

Freshman Kenya Lucas had 16 kills to lead the Ghosts, and sophomore Izzy Reilly had 27 assists.

For the Indians, setter Maya Hanson had 35 assists to go along with four aces, two kills and five digs. Alyssa Reiner (13 kills, 10 digs, five aces) and Liz Horas (12 kills, six digs) led the Indians at the net. Hana Ekecs led the defense with 27 digs to go along with one kill and one ace. Christy Mack added 12 digs. Also contributing were Amelia Hanson (four kills, five digs), Maddy McCarthy (one ace, two kills, four digs, two blocks) and Natalie Truskowski (three kills, one dig, one block).

 

Non-league

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 1
Lauren Dougherty’s 11 kills led the Golden Hawks at the net in their non-league win over the Crusaders. Ariana Ranieri had seven kills and two blocks. Setters Ava Paulson and Alissa Helverson had 16 and 12 assists respectively. Katie Rodman led the defense with 20 digs while Katie Marsh had five service aces.
