COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-12)
The Golden Hawks won their third match of the young season without a loss.
Juniors Toren Kotter and Emelie Korn served six and five aces respectively. Toren and Emelie each had a pair of kills joined by Olivia DeSaro. Senior Ella Ford controlled the net, while sophomore Mia Bacevich continued her consistent serving streak. Junior Riley Witmer added a seven-point serving run that included two aces. It was an all-around team effort.
Up next: Council Rock South will host Neshaminy Thursday, and Harry S Truman will host Council Rock North on Thursday.

PENNSBURY 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0

SOL Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, SOUDERTON 2 (22-25, 24-26, 27-25, 25-22, 15-11)
The visiting Bucks staged an impressive comeback, dropping the first two sets before rallying to win the next three in a grueling five-set match. They eked out a win in a hard-fought third set (27-25) and then won the next two, receiving contributions up and down their lineup.
Kya Lynch was once again a catalyst for the Bucks, finishing with 17 kills, 15 digs, four blocks and two aces. Emma Shank led a strong West service game with eight aces.
For the Indians, Ava Woodbury (14 kills), Isabella Bernardo (13 kills) and Kylie O’Keefe (12 kills) led a balanced attack. Zoe Folk’s 16 digs led the defense while setter Caroline Bache handed out 42 assists.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 0
The Colonials earned a sweep of the visiting Spartans. PW was anchored by Ryleigh Gunn (8 kills, 1 block) and Grace Hamilton with six kills. Giules Storti had four digs, one kill and four aces and Bailey Riley five digs, four kills, and three aces.
Up next: Plymouth Whitemarsh will travel to Cheltenham on Thursday, and Springfield Twp will be on the road at Wissahickon Thursday.

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0

Non-league
VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0

The Lady Patriots fell to Villa Joseph Marie in non-league play.
The offense was led by Alli Minacci, who posted a strong stat line of 7 kills, 4 blocks, 4 digs and 1 service ace. Summer Darling contributed 6 kills, and Carmyn O'Brien added 4 kills to go along with 12 digs and 2 assists. The defense was led by Abi Zmuda (18 digs) and Liberty Frith (8 digs). Brynne Vonder Schmalz (10 assists, 6 digs, 4 aces) and Sadie Jones (10 assists and 3 digs) shared setting duties.
