SOL National Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-8)
In a battle of the neighboring rivals, it was the Bucks rolling to a sweep of the visiting Patriots.
Amanda Mass led the Bucks at the net with 11 kills and three blocks. Also making their presence felt at the net were Naomi Woo (two kills, six blocks), Mackenzie Brooks (six kills, one ace, nine digs), Maddie Corona (five kills, one block) and Magda Videva (six kills). Setter Ana Claricurzio handed out 27 assists and also had 10 digs. Leading a standout defensive effort was Maggie Winderman with 15 digs. Jordyn Klementovich (one ace, one kill, six digs), Maggie McCusker (three aces) and Grace Manganelli (eight digs) also made important contributions.
“I have to credit CB West’s defense – they didn’t let anything drop tonight,” East coach Kerri Rabberman said.
For the Patriots, Jenn Krzeminski led the way with 10 kills, four blocks, one ace and four digs. Setter Anna Ritter had 22 assists. Also contributing at the net were Halle Sharp (four kills), Vivien Agassi (three kills) and Izzy Guzzi (four kills). Morgan D’Angelo (six digs, one ace), Chloe Mettille (five digs) and Abby Killough (four digs) paced the defense.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 1 (25-16, 24-26, 25-21, 25-16)
 
The Panthers eked out a win in the second set, but the visiting Golden Hawks came back to win the next two to earn the win.
“Tennent always plays us tough,” Rock South coach John Wright said. “Coach (Brian) Bassler does a great job preparing his team. We were fortunate to get out of there with a win.”
South was led by Celina Varian and Ariana Ranieri with eight kills each. Paige O’Connell had six kills and 15 assists, and Ava Paulson had two kills, 12 digs and 14 assists. Bria DeSaro had 15 digs to lead the defense.
For the Panthers, Chiara Ciccone led the defense with 19 digs and also had seven service aces. Sara Ingham had five aces, five kills with no errors and four blocks.
“They had great matches,” Bassler said.
Riley Morgan and Grace Marsland led the Panthers at the net with seven kills each. Mackenzie Clee had 12 digs. 

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-15)
The visiting Titans received contributions up and down their lineup in their sweep of the Tigers.
"Tonight was a total team effort,” South coach Kurt Godfrey said. “Everyone got a chance to contribute and take part in a total team win. 
“We served really well tonight and I'm proud of all three of our setters for getting our hitters the ball.  Maddie (Shank), Erin (Fagan) and Lizzie all played really well.  Without them, our hitters wouldn't have been able to be as successful as they were tonight."
Contributing for the Titans were sophomore outside Courtney Pohl (three aces, nine digs), senior defensive specialist Maddie Mauri (six aces, one kill, seven digs), junior defensive specialist McKenna Clow (five aces, seven digs), senior outside Maddy Morrow (five aces, eight kills, four digs), senior opposite Gaby Nassar (three kills), freshman middle Millie Grove (five kills) and junior middle Allie Burke (four aces, seven kills).

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-13, 14-25, 25-11, 25-12)
The Indians dropped the second set but rallied to win the third and fourth in resounding fashion.
Mary Baniewicz led a balanced offensive attack with seven kills to go along with three digs, and Cora Lake had six kills and one dig. Freshman Ashleigh Adams had four kills, two aces and seven digs while Abby Seiple had three kills and two digs. Jill Schweizer led the Indians defensively with eight digs and four aces. Ashley Kelly had a team-high four aces to go along with four digs. Jill Adams added three aces, two kills and one dig. Sydney White and Kylie Tinner both had had two kills, two aces and two digs.

PENNSBURY 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-20)
The Falcons earned a sweep of the visiting Owls.
Ashley Parry led a balanced effort at the net with seven kills to go along with two aces and a team-high seven digs. Jada Rice had five kills while Kathryn Croteau added four kills and three aces. Katie Pieslak had three kills, two digs and two aces. Annie Meehan had three service aces and two digs, and Maggie Golder added one kill, three aces and three digs. Izzy Marinelli had two aces and one kill while Abbie Drewes had two digs and one ace.
For the Owls, Sydney Bawuah had seven kills and five aces and Zariah Prescott added four kills and five aces.
“They had excellent matches,” coach Tim Linehan said.
Emma LoStracco (13 assists, three kills) and Grace Fan (seven digs) also played well, according to their coach.

SOL Continental Conference

PENNRIDGE 3 QUAKERTOWN 2
The Rams won a marathon five-set match against a scrappy Panther squad.
Leading the way for the Rams was junior setter Kara Allelunas, who had 38 assists and three blocks to go along with four aces. Libero Katherine DeYesso dominated in the match, leading the team in serve receive passing and 25 digs. Offensively, opposite hitter Isabella Cooper paced the Rams with 15 kills while sophomore middle blocker Julia Post chipped in with nine kills and three blocks.
For the Panthers, senior Jenny Starzecky had one ace, five kills, nine digs, one block and 19 receptions, and Alex Whalen had one ace, four kills, six digs and 14 receptions. Senior Mackenzie Mahler had one ace, two kills, 12 assists and eight digs, and sophomore Grace Wilson had seven digs and 23 receptions. Sophomore Kara Gallagher had three kills, eight digs and one block. Also contributing were junior Abigail Macmullen (nine receptions), senior Giacinta Barndt (one block, three digs, one reception) and sophomore Abigail Sicher (one block, one kill, two digs).

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, UPPER DUBLIN 1, (25-14, 25-11, 23-25, 25-23)
Aja Smith had a big night at the net, leading the Colonials in Monday’s four-set win with 18 kills. She also had 13 digs and one ace. Sophie Repholz had a big match defensively, finishing with 31 digs to go along with five aces and five assists. Megan Peuser had 11 kills, two blocks and four digs, and setter Sydney Melillo had 18 assists and 11 digs.
For the Flying Cardinals, Charlotte Qi (12 kills, four aces, nine digs) and Kara Grebe (12 kills, one block five digs) led the way at the net. Shannon Yoast (nine kills, one assist, nine digs), Sydney Jones (seven kills, three digs) and Sydney Jones (seven kills, three digs) also had big nights. Setter Sarah Randall had 41 assists, five digs and one ace. Also contributing were Maggie Faust (one ace, seven digs) and Aileen Kohlbrenner (four digs).
