SOL National Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2 (16-25, 25-10, 16-25, 26-24, 15-13)
The Patriots trailed 2-1 after three sets but rallied to win the next two.
“This was a great match,” East coach Kerri Rabberman said. “CR North is always a very talented team.”
East setter Anna Ritter had 37 assists and two aces. Jenn Krzeminski had 13 kills, two aces, one block and four digs. Halle Sharp had 12 kills and two aces. Vivien Agassi had two aces, 10 kills and five digs. Izzy Guzzi had six kills and one block. Maddy Lacouture had two kills and three blocks. Morgan D'Angelo had two aces and 10 digs. Abby Killough had two aces and five digs, and Chloe Mettille had six digs.
For the Indians, freshman Ashleigh Adams had a big match, finishing with 10 kills, 15 digs and seven aces. Mary Baniewicz also had 10 kills to go along with eight digs and one ace. Kylie Tinner added eight kills and 12 digs, and Abby Jones had six kills and one dig. Ashley Kelly had 10 digs and two service aces. Cora Lake, Jenna Hron and Jill Adams each had two kills.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0 (25-17, 25-13, 26-24)
The Bucks used a balanced attack in their sweep of the Panthers. Mackenzie Brooks (10 kills, one ace, 10 digs) and Amanda Mass (eight kills, one dig) led the way. Magda Videva and Sara Tartaglia each had four kills while Naomi Woo chipped in three. Setter Ana Claricurzio had 28 assists, 11 digs, two kills and one ace. Maggie Winderman (eight digs, two assists, one ace) and Grace Manganelli (six digs, two aces) paced the defense.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-7, 25-9, 25-21)
The Golden Hawks were led by Katie Marsh with five kills, Sam Tomasi with one kill and two aces and Claire Goetz with three kills and two aces. Courtney Korn and Alissa Helverson dished out seven and six aces respectively.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, BENSALEM 1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 25-12)
Zariah Prescott, according to coach Tim Linehan, had an outstanding match for the Owls, contributing seven kills, three aces and two blocks. Sara Streng (four kills), Sydney Bawuah (three kills, two aces, two assists) and Maddie Buechner (two kills, two aces) played well at the net. Emma LoStracco (14 assists), Meg Klaiss (three aces) and Grace Fan (seven digs) also played well, according to Linehan.

PENNSBURY 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-11)
Izzy Marinelli's 13-kill effort led a dominant Falcon effort in a sweep of the Redskins. She also added five service aces and one dig. Abbie Drewes had a team high 15 digs to go along with two service aces. Ashley Parry chipped in four kills, four digs and four aces. Maggie Golder added four digs and one kill. Adding three kills each were Mary Miller, Katie Pieslak and Kathryn Croteau. Elley Torres had four digs, two kills and three service aces. 

SOL American Conference

NORTH PENN 3, UPPER DUBLIN 1 (21-25, 28-26, 25-18, 25-16)
The Knights dropped the first set but rallied to win the next three in a conference win over the Cardinals.
In a strong defensive showing, the Knights recorded 78 team digs, led by senior libero Francesca Dolan with 33 and a 2.26 passing average. Dolan also added a serving ace to her stat line. Senior defensive specialist Dianna Pisut recorded a personal best 2.64 passing average along with 13 digs and three aces.  

Junior outside hitter Natalie Wernly led the Knights offense, recording a season high 15 kills and a team high .414 hitting percentage. Wernly added two blocks and six digs to her stat line. Alycia Powers added nine kills and Morgan Patterson, seven kills. Senior setter Emily Cooper recorded a season high 22 assists to lead the Knights. Cooper added six serving aces and three kills to her stat line. The Knights recorded six blocks in the match. Middles Maddy Mejia and Kayla Sucro recorded two each. 

SOUDERTON 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-19, 16-25 25-7, 25-18)
Senior Maria Iervolino’s 12 kills led a potent Souderton attack in its four-set win over the Panthers. She also had four digs. Senior Erin Brady added 10 kills and one dig, and senior Jordyn Peacock and junior America Hanson each had six kills. Hanson also had 16 digs to go along with four aces. Peacock added a block. Junior setter Maya Hanson dished out 38 assists and also had 10 digs and five aces. Senior Bella Mazzeo led the defense with 19 digs, and she also had four aces. Senior Megan Hamilton added 12 digs, one ace and one kill.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, ABINGTON 1
Kaley Ehnow led the Ghosts with 16 kills and three blocks. Fabi Gonzalez led the defense with 21 digs, and Aislin Resurreccion had 10 kills.

Thursday, Sept 27
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, UPPER DARBY 0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-20)
The visiting Panthers earned a sweep in non-league play Thursday. Brianna Zysk led the Panthers with six kills on six attempts. Chaira Ciccone had 11 digs, and the Panthers had 22 aces as a team.

SPRING-FORD 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2 (17-25, 28-26, 26-24, 10-25, 11-15)
The Bucks opened up a 2-1 lead but could not hold on against the Rams in a non-league match.
Amanda Mass (15 kills, four digs, one block) and Mackenzie Brooks (nine kills, one ace, 21 digs) led the Bucks at the net. Setter Ana Claricurzio had 33 assists, four kills, one ace, one block and 14 digs. Maggie Winderman led the defense with 24 digs and also had two aces. Magda Videva (five kills, four digs) and Juliana Stumpf (five kills, seven digs) also contributed.
