COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0
Avery Vaughan had a big night for the Golden Hawks in their sweep of the Panthers, finishing with 15 kills, one block and two aces. Edan Kauer (nine kills, three aces), Nala Kauer (six kills, two aces) and Grace DeSaro (four kills, one ace and, one block) made important contributions as well. Gina Caraccio (18 assist, two kills) and Lili Lauch (14 assists, two aces) shared setting duties. Lindsey Korn, Alexis Green and Cadence Palmer were credited with great passing and defense.
SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 2 (19-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-15, 15-13)
The Indians found themselves staring at a two-set deficit but rallied to win the next three with an inspired effort.
Alyssa Reiner (15 kills, 13 digs, three aces, two blocks) and Teya McConaha (15 kills, three digs, four blocks) were double trouble at the net for the Titans, combining for 30 kills. Alli Sauerwald added five kills, four aces and four digs, and setter Nikki Hamilton handed out 40 assists and also had three aces and four digs.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, PENNRIDGE 1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-22, 25-19)
Sparked by a huge night from Alexis Barklage, the Bucks earned the big win. Barklage led the Bucks with 15 kills, six aces and four blocks. Rachel Hu added six kills, three aces and 10 digs while Mackenzie Lund had three kills, five blocks and one ace. Lily Rasnake had two aces, one kill and one block. Alexa Lee ran the offense and finished with 28 assists, five digs and one ace.
