Non-league
NESHAMINY 3, GWYNEDD MERCY 0
Neshaminy moves to 4-2 overall with another 3-0 win against a well-coached and young GMA team Friday.
The Redskins were led in a defensive masterclass by sophomore Addie Raivitch, who led the way with 28 digs. Senior captains Amanda Fisher and Elaina Clark continue to lead the offense. Fisher finished with 12 kills and a .560 hitting percentage. Clark finished the night with nine kills on a .412 hitting percentage. Sophia Havryschak finished with seven kills and four aces. Samantha Ridge added four kills along with eight digs. Sophomore Carlie Weiss continues to grow as a setter, she finished with 28 assists and seven digs.

Neshaminy (4-2, 1-1 SOL) will head to the Academy of Notre Dame on Tuesday, looking for their third straight win!

BOYERTOWN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-18)
Central Bucks was defeated in three at home Saturday against Boyertown.
The Bucks fought through all three sets playing aggressively. Ava Streibig and Erinn McCusker both played with tenacity, greatly supporting the Bucks' effort. McCusker had two kills, five assists and two aces. Setter Elisa Kremser added 13 assists, six digs and one block. Outside hitter Kya Lynch led her team in kills with 11 and also had 15 digs and two blocks, and middle hitter Jane Foster had equally impressive net presence, contributing four kills. The Bucks maintained aggressive play and determination and continue to see growth in their team.

Central Bucks West (1-6, 1-2 SOL) will be on the road at North Penn Tuesday.

UPPER MERION 3, ABINGTON 1 (25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23)
The Ghosts came up short in Saturday’s non-league match, falling for the first time this season, but coach Dan Marsh wouldn’t have wanted to miss the experience of going against a powerful Viking squad.
“It was a fantastic high school volleyball match,” the Ghosts’ coach said. “It was very competitive.”
Setter Mary Carter had 26 assists and eight aces while Sasha Moody and Sofia Heininger both had 13 kills.
Abington (4-1, 3-0 SOL) will be at Upper Dublin on Tuesday.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, HAVERFORD 0
PW improved to 5-1 with a fantastic backcourt defensive effort from Giuliana Storti, Chloe Esslinger, and Brigid Keenan.
Ryleigh Gunn added to the defensive effort with 3 blocks and 5 kills, but the story of the day was the play of Marissa Storti who matched Amanda Busk with 11 kills to go with five aces.
"It was great to see our team play at the level we know we are capable of," coach Dave Stewart said. "We have a lot of work to do, but it is great to see this team respond to an early loss and also playing this well this early in the season. We are super proud of our girls."
Plymouth Whitemarsh (5-1, 2-1 will host Cheltenham Tuesday (4:45 pm).

MOUNT ST. JOSEPH ACADEMY 3, PENNSBURY 0

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 2
The visiting Flying Cardinals earned a hard-fought five-set win Friday.
Brooke Kinsley led the Cardinals with 14 kills, 14 digs, two aces and one block. Also making contributions at the net were Isabelle Driehuis (8 kills, 1 assist, 2 digs, 5 blocks), Madison Small (7 kills, 19 digs, 1 block), Janis Andrulonis (5 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks) and Reese Fidler (5 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks). Small led the UD defense with 19 digs. Setter Kaitlyn Small added 36 assists to go along with 15 digs, three kills, three aces and three blocks. Lyvia Marcus contributed 13 digs, three aces and one assist, and Alisa Zeng added 12 digs and two aces.
Upper Dublin (4-0, 3-0 SOL) will host Abington in Tuesday, and New Hope-Solebury (4-3, 1-3 SOL) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday.

Non-league
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, ARCHBISHOP RYAN 0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-20)
The Panthers earned a sweep of the visiting Raiders in Friday’s non-league match.
“We had a rough outing on Thursday at Neshaminy, who played very well,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said. “This was an amazing bounce-back. The girls were in sync and played some inspiring and fun volleyball as a team.”
Margaux Kellum led the Panthers’ defense with 23 digs. Setter Izzy Goebel handed out 33 assists. Leading the attack were Kristina Bentisinova (11 kills), Emmerson McElhinney (10 kills) and Lauren Marsland (8 kills, 6 aces)
William Tennent (3-3, 1-2 SOL) will host Bensalem on Tuesday.
