Sparked by the strong play of Alyssa Reiner at the net, the visiting Indians rolled to a sweep over the Crusaders in Monday’s non-league match.
Reiner finished with 15 kills, one block and four aces in a dominant outing. Alexa Mazzeo’s 10 digs led the Indians’ defense. Alli Sauerwald (four aces, three kills, four digs) and Teya McConaha (four kills, three blocks, three digs) turned in solid all-around outings. Setter Nikkii Hamilton had 24 assists to go along with one ace and four digs.
