In an extremely well-played and quickly-played match, Wissahickon’s depth and experience proved to be the deciding edge in its 196-202 home victory over Upper Dublin. Sophomore Jalen Griffin scored match low honors, posting a one-over par 37, closely followed by junior teammates Jesse Hunsicker and Rishab Kumar with 38. The Cardinals were led by Jon Bebey’s and Sarah Easton’s 3-over par 39s. This was Wissahickon’s first conference match of the season, and both squads will be major players in determining who walks away with the 2011 American Conference crown.
