Archbishop Wood’s Karly Brown led all players with an impressive 73, including an eagle on the par 12th hole. She was followed by teammate Matt McGettigan’s 77. Quakertown’s Calvin Suk came in third with an 80, edging out Stephen DeFrancis based on their scores on the number one handicap hole. William Tennent’s lone medalist was sophomore Colin Walsh with an 81. Tennent used excellent depth to win the four-team tournament.

Abington lost to Huntington Valley against a very strong Council Rock North team. CR North showed superior depth against Abington with each member finishing 10 over or less. Matt Shur led the Ghosts with an even par (35) with one birdie, seven pars and only one bogey. Shur was the low score for the day. Andy Ring had a respectable 40 with one birdie and three pars. Taylor Munn continues to improve this season but missed some key putts to finish at 47. Jake Dickstein and Jack Kurtz each contributed for Abington’s final score. CR North’s Fuglestad, Herr and Muhlbauer lead the way for the team, and Rose and Welles were not far off with respectable scores of 40 and 41.

Michael Chwal shot his varsity low with a score of 40.
