In this day of firsts, Wissahickon swept its first ever ‘quad’ match, shot the lowest team score in school history - even par 180 and also posted the school’s lowest ever individual match score of 4-under par 32 by junior co-captain Jesse Hunsicker. The Trojans backed Hunsicker’s record-setting performance with both sophomore Jalen Griffin and junior Rishab Kumar shooting 1-under par 35 and seventh and eighth seeds Alex Kim and Kevin Edwards (first varsity match) shooting career low rounds of 38 and 40 respectively. Wissahickon’s recent strong play - the team has recorded four straight team match scores in the 190’s - turned out to be a harbinger of Monday’s performance. With the win, the Trojans improved to 6-0 in conference play and 10-0 in the league.
