The visiting Patriots used a strong round from Patrick Sheehan and superior depth to narrowly defeat the host Panthers. Sheehan overpowered the course with an even par 35, including a 2-putt birdie on the par 5 5th hole. The CB East star hit two irons against the wind to 12 feet, before almost making an eagle. The Patriots received strong contributions from Matt Beecker, Jack Dunsmore and Jack Herbine. Jake Semcrow clinched the match with a 42.
The Panthers were led by sub 40 rounds from Dan McCabe and Colin Wash. Stephen Skiba, Ryan Foley and Charlie Molzahn contributed solid scores for the hosts.
