CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 6, PENNRIDGE 4
After a scoreless first period, the Titans exploded for five goals in the second on their way to a win over the Rams Friday night.
The Rams struck first when Troy Crosson found the net, using a Michael Padgeon assist.  Less than a minute later, Jackson Koblick (Alex Rubas assist) answered for the Titans.  His goal ignited a 5-0 South run in the final 8:31 of the period. Thomas Liberta (Jason Bechtel/Joseph DeLaurentis assists) and Joseph DeLaurentis (Damon DeLaurentis/Bechtel assists) each scored a goal, and Matt Stoll closed out the period with back-to-back goals – the second with a Nick Smith assist – to put the Titans on top 5-1.
Josh Finlayson (Padgeon assist) broke the Titans run with a goal early in the third period, but Koblick’s power play goal with a Frank Carter assist gave the Titans a 6-2 advantage before Padgeon (Crosson/John Bird assists) and Crosson (Finalyson assist) scored late goals for the Rams.
South held a 42-22 advantage in shots. Pennridge goalie Luke Stranick was credited with 36 saves while Aaron King turned away 18 shots in the win.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 7, PENNSBURY 1
The Golden Hawks stayed within striking distance of William Tennent in the National Conference standings with a convincing win over the Falcons Friday.
Justin Adams’ goal – with an assist from Dylan Varian – gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead after one period. In the second period, the Hawks tacked on three unanswered goals by Alexander Keck (Varian/Michael Kauffman assists), Kauffman and Darren Barder to go on top 4-0.
Rock South’s lead grew to 7-0 in the third period, thanks to goals by Jay Jenkins (Josh Vergules assist), Adams (Parker Defelice assist) and Kauffman. Jenkins’ goal came on a power play while Adams scored a short-handed goal. Ryan Mudrick’s power play goal with assists from Kyle Wilkins and Adams Shapiro late in the period broke up the Golden Hawks’ shutout bid.
Rock South held a 23-14 advantage in shots on goals. Mason Procz turned away 13 of 14 shots he faced to earn the win.

Thursday, Jan. 21
WISSAHICKON 7, HATBORO-HORSHAM 4
The Trojans and Hatters were tied 2-2 early in the second period, but the Trojans reeled off three straight goals to take a lead they would not lose.
The Hatters got on the scoreboard first when Eric Sharp (Nathan Reilly assist) connected on a power play goal 8:10 into the opening period. Kyle Wolf answered with back-to-back goals – both unassisted – to put the Trojans on top 2-1 after one period.
Sharp’s second goal knotted the score early in the second period, but then came the Trojans’ three-goal outburst. Andrew Cade (Noah Harrington assist), Brandon Rosoff (Nolan Piatkowski assist) and Jagger Doll (Matt Cade assist) scored consecutive goals within a seven-minute period to put the Trojans on top 5-2. Jordan Brenner’s power play goal (Ryan Sharp/Reilly assists) made it a 5-3 game after two periods.
Things got interesting when Dylan McClure scored seven minutes into the second period, using assists from Alexa Foster and Kyle Mullen, and suddenly, it was a one-goal game. Less than two minutes later, Harrington tacked on an insurance goal for the Trojans, using assists from Rosoff and Matt Wilson. Rosoff’s goal in the closing minute gave the Trojans their final margin of victory.
Wissahickon held a 46-25 advantage in shots on goal. Ryan McElroy was credited with 39 saves for the Hatters while Jake Modelevsky turned away 21 shots in a winning effort for the Trojans.
